and this made me even more annoyed that we lost to Villa last week

you are quite correct I wouldn't give a ****, I hate Chelsea they have spent millions on buying silverware, and before anyone says anything no they are not the only club, I don't hate them because of that though its more a deep hatred that was instilled in me from birth, I would love to beat them and get Bradford in the semis, I was just pointing out what will be said in the aftermath.
I have to say I miss the these kind of matches though, they are what we crave as Leeds united supporters and im sure Chelsea fans feel the same.

 

This will indeed be our best opportunity to get to the SF. The only problem might be that they'll arrived tired & cross that they played so badly against Corinthians that they're looking for a team to take it out on. They have the suze & quality of squad that even if Fact Benitez does rest a chunk of their normal starting XI, they'll still be a strong side.

Let's just hope for a good game, no dart or coin throwning (we really don't need the hassle & neither do they), & us either winning or not being embarassed.

I'm working near Leeds this week and may have gone to ER if it was pay on the day.

 

I can't condone non-Leeds fans coming to a game such as this one, but if you knew a club member, they could probably still get you one of the straggler tickets in the members-only family stand. Or the one remaining seat in the Bremner Suite is still there on the official ticket site, which is available to non-members if they create a login. But one would have to buy that online and collect on the day - no pay on the gate for this game.

 

Other way round mate. You'll get searched on way in but ill be allowed to stroll in with darts, flares, stones and the like

But yes we are searched before we get on the club train and then searched again on entrance to the ground...

This is the best chance we've had, and possibly will have, to win a trophy in years. If we get past Chelsea, and there's no better time to try to do so than right now, we have to go for it 100%.

 

Agreed. The odds are stacking increasingly in our favour, even more so if Sturridge remains out with injury. Several of their first teamers are out with injury or suspension. Of those who are available, the majority are jet lagged. Their reserves are thin on the ground and a cold Wednesday night in Yorkshire in front of a hostile crowd gives us a strong home advantage.

I can't see past a Leeds win here. Jet lag and exhaustion will play its part and I genuinely think Chelsea will be lucky to score.

 

And unfortunately I think you're right... annoying that we have to play such a big game 2 days after coming from Japan... oh well... we'll give it our best
