52' GOAL! Doughty makes it 6-1 with a thunderous effort from 25-yards which sails into the top corner.:1980_boogie_down:

He was never really been off form and he's never been given the chance to be on form. When he's started he's always done ok. Not been given a fair chance. I remember him having a very good game against Spurs then the Welsh moron dropped him in the next game.

Hopefully this will remind Arry that wide midfielders need to be capable of scoring and creating goals. In his few appearances fopr the club he's already made more of a contribution than SWP aka 'the passenger'.

Teams will double up on Adel more and more so we need a chance or goal to come from elsewhere to share the burden

Agree. In scoring those goals, he'll have done himself no harm at all in Harry's eyes. At the least, I'd like to see him brought on as fresh legs on Saturday.

I like him, it wasn't a position we needed to strengthen though, and I said so at the time.
Though saying that, he can replace Adel in January<ok>

That looks like the obvious choice however I think Diakite would be great in that position and can really dribble well.

I think he should be in instead of SWP with the option of changing them over later if necessary. Has a better attacking threat in my opinion.

Agreed; the opposition just don't like it when he dribbles, you can see it all over their faces.

He must have been watching too much of Arsenal's technique at Bradford.
