New Moderator

Right, Leazes and I are lazy bastards so we want one of you lot to give us a hand moderating this place. I'm sticking this thread up to get a list of people who would be interested in doing it, and then on Monday evening when most of you should have seen it, we'll put a poll up and have an election.

Leazes has recommended Agent Bruce and overseasTOON, I'll throw AldridgePrior and No Way Past Jose's names into the ring as well. All four get on with pretty much everyone and clearly have nothing better to do since they spend so much time on here.

If anyone else is interested or if you'd like to nominate someone else, let us know. Also if someone who's been mentioned doesn't want to do it, tell us. I'd hate to unwillingly force someone into a position of power.

 

AB gets my vote

 

OverseasToon isn't active enough for me, even though he's decent bloke.

I'd have to go for AB or nufctomw

They're both decent individuals, even though AB is kinda gay

I would have been interested in it, but I don't spend as much time on here as everyone else which would be an issue obviously, so I'd be happy for any of the 4 you mentioned to get it

A criticism that has been levelled at me and Leazes in the past. We should probably try to aim for a hetero mod, just so all sexualities are catered for...

just give it to the person out of the 4 with the most posts (rough reflection of the time they are on here)

 

This, as long as there's no major objection to the other posters. And AB would win hands down.

 

It's not like we're short of a few great posters around here, a fair few of us could make great moderators so I think whoever gets it will need to be one of the most active and preferably on at times you and Leazes can't be.
I'd say AB for me, not only is he one of the best posters on here - he's the most active so you know he can cover for you two and any lack of activity and I'd also nominate GRB as well so he can get put up into the mix , as he is quite active and another well respected member of our community.
