If Ipswich could loan one player from their country cousins down the rd at Norwich , who do you think would improve your current team for 2013? As we only play one striker Jackson would be a quality addition IMHO..
Simeon Jackson is a player I actually rate quite highly. We were rumoured to have been watching him before you signed him, he seems as a bit of a nearly man at Carrot road, clearly has a decent goalscoring ratio (for a player who doesn't play regularly) and I imagine given a run of games he would be a deadly front man (especially in the championship) But I have to say that I'd take Tettey off your hands given the chance. Though he has to have one of the greatest names ever to be (attempted) to be said by anyone with a Naarfolk accent, almost as ridiculous as the way some of you say HUUUUUWTUN!
Tettey has been an excellent addition and i don`t think it`s any surprise that since he was introduced to our midfield we have looked very strong and unbeaten in 10. We will probably struggle to hold on to him if he improves any more, maybe Leon Barnett at centre back? where do Town need strengthening other than firepower?

Why would we want to loan someone who can't get in your first team? We only really need a 'keeper. Possibly a striker but that's definitely Norwich's weakest area. Non-starter then...
I would have to contest at least part of that statement. Chris Martin = No thanks, having played against the guy he is clearly talented but I'd rather have his namesake (that fella from Coldplay) play for us, such is the attitude of the 'Footballing' Chris Martin. Morison, as I said could do a job for us but I wouldn't class him as being a 'worldy' but would add something to our attack, Jackson is someone who again could add something to the squad but by no means a guarantee to do anything particularly with the complete lack of game time etc.. and Vaughan is someone I rated before he got injured for you but he hasn't impressed me much at all since then so I wouldn't fancy him at Portman Road and would have to disagree with a large proportion of your comment.

SN23 - like for like, forward-wise those guys are probably better than Scotland and arguably Chopra too, but it doesn't progress us bringing loan players in unless they're going to set the world alight like Campbell has done. None of the guys you mention can hold a torch to DJ Campbell, and worse still they are Norwich players. As for the 'who are your best players' question it's irrelevant because its a team game. If it wasn't for Paul Lambert then Holt and Ruddy would be playing in the lower leagues. Cresswell, Hewitt, Smith, Hyam, N'Daw could all have futures in the Premier League. You only have to look at the quality of players we've let go over the last few years, who were in underperforming Town sides, to see that our problems have not been down to a lack of quality man for man. There are a few 'good Championship players' in the side like Martin and Edwards and there are some gaps in the team which I'm sure will be addressed in January.
i'd take byron lawrence. he's only a kid but the couple of times i've seen him play he certainly seems to have 'something' about him and definitely one for the future. its a farcical argument for any ipswich fan to claim they wouldn't want 'hardly anyone' from the team 7th in the premier league but then one or two of their fans are rather petty when it comes to norwich-ipswich matters. our entire first team would walk instantly into the current ipswich team and they know it - clearly that irritates one or two

I've not seen Lawrence play but I know Wight is another one who could make a big impact. From what MM has said about teaching JET new ways of approaching the game he's another one who could prove to be a massive talent too.
SN23 that list includes Butterfield who we were told would cause Town all sorts of problems for Barnsley. You have some exceptional first team talent but come on man you need a dose of reality.
I honestly don`t think i have ever glanced at a Norwich squad more packed with talent, we don`t even have any old farts that used to be good... Heady days....
