http://aggbot.com/Hull-City-News/265/article/18546062 He added: "I will probably get punished by the FA - it's me, isn't it? It will definitely be my fault." Well you did elbow someone in the head off the ball, so yes, I would expect you to get punished by the FA.
He's a complete prick. And he was nearly our player, Brownie had a bid for him rejected back in 2007.
You can't go down like he did holding your face and then react like this as though he wanted nothing to do with the whole incident. He obviously wanted Bruce sent off and he got that. He's managed to bring attention to his own assault which would have otherwise have been missed by everyone and now he'll be banned.
The Uddersfeeled lot seem to be split 50/50 on the issue. Some of the arguments in favour of Lee are laughable. Some mention that Alex headed off across the path of Lee and that that justified Lee swiping him in the neck?!?!?!? Alex did move in that direction but if you notice he was in the opposing half and he was making his way back towards his natural defensive position. Uddersfeeled POV What made me laff was that Lee got up and started feeling his face. What's that all about? AB shoved him in the chest. Maybe Lee had been watching Rivaldo!! Also, I see Grayson is telling a pack of lies! Claiming Bruce shoved Lee in the face, wanchor! FCUKING LIAR GRAYSON
best ref in the world sees nothing above the waist for 96 minutes of football then falls for handbazgs at the end of the game. He's a clown.
In case anybody missed it, (that includes you, Mr. Webb) here is the video: http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/262569/video Skip to 1:50, it starts there.
I've made myself pretty clear on what i think of Bruce Jnr's reaction, but if, having seen the video of the incident, the FA swallow that load of cobblers, they're a bigger bunch of twats than i initially thought.
I hadn't seen the incident... I'm staying neutral for these sort of things... As far as I am concerned Deliberate elbow in Bruce's throat, which is quite dangerous. My only concern is in my opinion it looks like Bruce did run towards him, almost hoping to bump shoulders with him. I am not sure why he runs in that upwards direction also... it doesn't seem like the natural way to get back to his position... So not sure if he's completely innocent in terms of instigating or not... BUT Lee started it. No doubt about that. It's a bit like, players who get their foreheads close to each other but as long as you are not the first one to move forward and headbutt then you don't get punished. The footage doesn't show Bruce's shove. But most people seem to say it wasn't anywhere near Lee's nose, so why the **** is he pretending to see if he's bleeding from it.
Why is running back towards his natural defensive position from the opponents half not the natural thing to do. Even if he was trying to run across the path of Lee, which if you look carefully he pulls up just as Lee runs past him, there is no law against that. Players regularly deliberately place themselves between opponents and the ball. Lee could quite easily have changed direction and avoided Bruce.
Considering Bruce already had a big bandage on his head, it was quite disgusting from Lee, even without a cut on his head it was awful, a disgrace and I'm sorry but if Bruces 3 match ban stands then Lee the **** deserves a 10 match ban.
I remember them having a great start to the 07/08 season and we were near the bottom of the league after a few games, and one of the national papers ran a story with him saying, "I'm in Heaven, Not Hull". It was all about how he'd made the right decision as they were looking like mounting a promotion challenge and we - as usual - were playing pretty poorly. I've never liked him since then, and every time I saw him on TV playing in League One for 'Udders I'd laugh to myself at the thought of his arrogance. I nearly wet myself when we beat Ipswich 3-1 that year.
