Last season we finished first in the tables for goals scored from set pieces and headed goals. Despite a slow start with the headed goals and set-piece goals this season we are second in both tables. A person who deserves a lot of credit for this is Snodgrass, who has even contributed by scoring two goals directly from set-pieces as well as providing the perfect ball for players in the middle.

Garrido has also provided some fantastic crosses for headed goals, Pilkington's goal against United being a great example, as well as Bassong's great headers when coming forward.

It's great to see that, despite changing managers, we are playing to our strengths, and players have been bought in to improve it further.

We all knew what you meant, Wonky, (well except good old Cromer!). This is well observed and I think that one of the secrets to survival in the PL is the ability to score from set-pieces. This has been evident throughout the unbeaten run. Along with this, though, is the improvement in defending against other teams scoring against us from set-pieces. I used to cringe when other teams got free-kicks or corners, but there is far more competence and confidence in defending them now. Well done CH, CC and PT and the new defenders they have brought in.

The irony is that the calibre of deliveries from Pilks and Snodgrass has improved drastically in the last 3/4 weeks - and seems to have coincided with our tightening up at the back and defending set pieces much more securely. Double whammy, really <ok>

(I knew what you meant, wonky <ok> )

Good OP wonky, and well done for highlighting Snoddy's contribution. A lot of fans still seem to doubt his worth, but opposing teams quickly find out that he's a real threat. Also I echo RiverEndRick's "Well done!" to CH et.al. <ok>
