Like many I think we have played some very good football this year maybe even better than the last few years! However the old DÃJà VU has raised its head again, every time we play a team with a more physical approach to the game we get completely bullied out of the game and this has been the case for several seasons now! If we canât get the ball down and play then there is no plan B. Why has it taken all this time for NP to realise that we need a Plan B with a couple of midfielders who will not be pushed around and can get stuck in and maybe a young Steve Howard type to play these teams at their own game. January is the time we could put this rightâ¦..But I bet we donât!
i dont think any signings will help us in Jan, cant see Pearson paying over the odds, and thats what this transfer window is about. We dont do well against Millwall in general, a definate bogey team, i wouldnt worry too much about that result, but puts more pressure on the next 2 games, gunna be an exciting Christmas for Pearson and the lads
Well actually you had 59% of the ball, gave away more free kicks (although to be fair the ref was a complete buffoon), had more players booked and for the first quarter of an hour were consistantly first to the ball, pressing well and bullying the heck out of our midfield. Your failure was that although you did indeed get the ball down and produced long strings of passes, many of which were quite impressive, you were completely unable to produce a killer pass where it mattered, in the last third of the pitch. So your analysis is completely incorrect in every respect.
We should be looking at players whose contracts run out in the summer and nick them on the cheap like we did with Ben Marshall and Wes Morgan last year
Surely hes not going to get lucky twice with european players. Ive heard that theres this guy in Spain called "Messy" or something like that, maybe its worth taking a punt on him
