I didn't watch the game so is anyone that watched the game able to convince me that I shouldn't feel more pissed off about this result than any other Liverpool result this season?

  2. There are 320 comments on this thread. Fair enough, a lot of them will be bollox but I am pretty sure there will be at least twenty posts that will tell you what you want to know <ok>

PS...the end of the last page as half a dozen comments that should cover it <ok>

Not blaming one player but Joe Allen was ****ing awful again yesterday and it's time for him to be dropped. Henderson or Sahin for Allen please.

  6. Although we have been getting **** results most of the season, I've not really got pissed off with it because its been happening for two or three seasons now and I've come to expect it.

However, I was quite annoyed after yesterdays game and it didn't exactly help with the weekend! Mainly because we dominated so much and lost to such a predictable tactic <grr>

I only saw the goals from the match and it looks like every mistake in possession was punished.

Were there any standout performers and how did Suarez do?

EDIT: Any standout performers for Liverpool? :)

And how did my best mate Gerrard do?

  10. Ask Tyrannosuarez Rex <whistle>

IMO, he was his usual self, did okay in attacking positions but not good enough defensively and lacked effort. He should have had at least one goal to his name but for a very bad / lazy pass by Suarez (the ball was two yards behind Stevie but he would have been in on goal had it been right).

TBH, the game annoyed me quite a bit and after the third Villa goal and wasn't giving it 100% attention <ok>

I said "We will win". We didn't. What went wrong? I had the chance of a ticket but had to do Crimbo shopping instead. Just as well by the sound of it. I obviously didn't watch MOTD and haven't time to read the whole thread today. Can someone kindly summarise for me?

I know what went wrong. I actually prayed when we were losing 2-1 against West Ham and we turned it around. I was out on Saturday and didn't know the score until it was too late.

  18. Breandan's words on LFC website:

interesting that he only mentions top four here rather than second <whistle>

^^ I think that result was coming after the terrible west ham game. Rodgers really needs to stop playing some players like allen and looking to cole from the bench, it was miraculous we beat the hammers and it wont happen again like that. It has cost us and we are even further behind top 4.

  20. Although I agree, I simply can't see him dropping Joe 'love child' Allen from the starting eleven <ok>
