And seriously Katmandu are you really losing it over a little game? Go and bust a nut and calm down.

Was there a cup fixture last night? If so, when can we expect to see the results?

Edit: Never mind, I see the first post has been updated <ok>

Tash ****ed me over with his mark, the lad had a good game. 7 at least. I'm sticking with him now because I smell a run of form once he gets full sharpness back.

Yeah, I thought Benny was a bit slow off the mark last night (although all our players were very slow off the mark), but after about 20 minutes he came alive. Several times he sprayed wonderful cross-field passes that opened up the defence (only for the player on the end of the pass to f- it up), he cut through the defence with through-balls which were rarely anticipated, and he ran past numerous players before crossing. The lad was terrific and I felt he was the second best player on the park til he was taken off (with Sidwell having a stormer), the goal was terrific and out of nothing.

When he was replaced, I was devastated, because there was no way back. He was creating everything. Obviously he's an injury concern, but if he had waddled around for the rest of the game and not touched it, he would have taken 2 of their players out of the game, leaving more space for the rest. But no, Shola comes on and Fulham revert to simple defending. Major tactical blunder in my opinion.

Colo, who Tash gave as MOTM provided a captain's performance for much of the game, but two pretty big mistakes cost two goals and I'd have given him 7 as a result. Hatem, I'd have given an 8/8.5. Jonas I felt was effective for the first time this season, though everyone is slating him. I'd have given him a 7. He tracked back many times to cover for Santon, he got us loads of free-kicks from tricky situations, and put in some decent deliveries. No way a 4. His general play is what it is, but that shouldn't detract from a solid performance. Williamson, I'd give a 5 at best. Twice he created attacking overloads by either running into his own man, or bundling the ball to Berbatov (or both <doh>). The other performances were give and take, but credit it to Tash, he says it how he sees it and if that's how he sees it fair enough.

I think as a manager you have to take a longer view personally. Benni had to come off unfortunately. We can't afford to have him out for a long period again. You see it all the time from the top managers, pre planned subs after 60-70 mins. They and the physios know better than us and will have the data to back it up. I would have brought Marv on but I thought Shola did ok. My marks were as follows:

Krul 8 - a welcome return to form
Simpson 7 - had a good game, made an important block, put good crosses in and the winger in his pocket
Santon 6 - Very up and down I thought. Some good crosses which our strikers waste with a lack of desire (same for Simpson). Out of position a fair bit though.
Willo 6- Fairly poor but good for him!
Colo 6 - MOTM? At fault for both goals. Those goals proved costly. He was good otherwise but those individual mistakes drag his mark down.
Tiote 7 - I thought he did fairly well and him and Anita have a nice partnership developing. A 3 three with Cabaye has me salivating.
Anita 8 - I thought he was terrific again and he got us playing 2nd half
Jonas 5 - I know what you mean, late on there were signs but overall I thought poor. Surrendered a lot of possession.
Benni 7 - Thought he did well overall, particularly given his obvious lack of sharpness early doors
Cisse 5 - Working hard but I wish him and Ba would get on the end of some crosses.
Ba 6 - Decent but didn't have his shooting boots on.

Ameobi 6 - Did ok but gave some cheap free kicks away. Ba should have done more with some of his knock downs.
Bigi 6 - Decent but didn't have much time.
    Marv 6 - As above

Pards should have got Marv on a little earlier for me. Indeed I'd drop Jonas for him in the short term.

I've got the Group A whipping boy today. Should be a comfortable 3 points and my + column should increase.

Doing a great job there TheJPF, apart from having me second bottom of group C, you obviously didn't get my message asking you to make a change. <wah>

If he's banned he can't take part so she should get a walk over.

He technically doesn't take part, but due to me being a lazy bastard, I'm not going to start messing with things that will disrupt it all <laugh>

Thus he stays in, but as a ghost player, and a ghost player who unfortunately has Ba. Due to him being a bad egg, anyone can swap with him for Ba if they wish to, and if someone takes Ba off him, then anyone can swap with him to take his new player off him... But nobody wants our top scorer at the moment weirdly...
