Haven't seen any information on the games being televised here (LFCTV don't seem to be showing the games) but i'm sure a stream will be available somewhere!
With Singapore being 8hrs in front of us and the game vs Singapore kicking off at 8.45 their time today. We can start looking for streans at about 12.45 lunchtime today. Good strong 11 out there and making the final is imperative!!!! If we meet United in the final it is basically a derby! If we meet Sporting lIsbon in the final it is an opportunity of how our u19s have moved forward/backwards since last year. Love the fact that we are playing in this tournament mid way through a season. very good to keep the lads active and improve our profile across the globe
If we can beat Singapore, (playing at the moment) We will play Sporting lIsbon in the final on sunday after they destroyed Man Utd 4-1 http://www.straitstimes.com/breakin...r-united-youths-fall-sporting-lisbon-20121214

FT 1-0 to Liverpool. Not a very good performance. Morgan and Ibe were noticeably poor. Looks like we will get turned over in the final.
Liverpool fell to a 2-0 loss to Sporting Lisbon in the final of the NexLions Cup on Sunday. Disappointing result for the Under 18's. Sporting Lisbon have once again showed their class and defeated us for the third time in the space of a year. Not the result we would have wanted but it would have been a good experience for everyone involved!
ANy of their players we can buy? Van Wolfswinkel, Jeffren from the senior team, wasn't/isn't Nelson Oliviera there as well?
Right, a couple of updates on the Under 18 front. First of all, the match summary on Liverpool's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at St. George's Park. Here is the Liverpool Under 18's manager Steve Copper on the 1-1 draw. And here is the West Brom development coach James Shan on the game.
In other news, the Under 18's have today flown to Qatar to take part in the Al Kass International Cup in Doha. Should be a good experience for the Under 18's. Some good sides are involved in this tournament so playing against different sides with different styles will be beneficial to the players. (Much like the NextGen Series) I will try to keep this thread updated with how they get on.
You have brought most of your youth players from differen academies, how many are acually producs of the Liverpool academy?
Admittedly quite a few of our players come in at 15/16, but they still get many years together before entering the first team. And its clearly showing. Thank you for highlighting my old post and demonstrating how i got it spot on about Suso, Sterling and Wisdom...Cheers..
u21s have a game this afternoon vs West Ham, Dont know what time. Dont know anything of the line up. if anyone knows anything feel free to update me..lol
