Ok guys, so indulge me please//waching a replay is never as good as the real thing, but i can only comment on what is saw...

    So...lets do the obvious first..

Tarbs..no one can give him credit for the weak 1st goal, but as the saying goes "if you dont shoot you dont score"...
a for the second..very fortunate to get the balloff the CM but thefinish was sublime..absolute class..only negativve is i wish we could get somwone else to take free kicks.

Ali..so good to see him back pulling the strings again...class player and as posted earlier this week..totally at homein the prem

Nelson..everything a captain should be....and his No.2 was outstanding too

Onuha.Thought he looked good and rarely put a foot wrong..

Cisse...did he play..unklucky not to score thogh

SWP...solid game from a player i have never rated, cant fault him and maybe HR can get him plsying

MBia..crowd favrite and class act..love him..

0yabove what we need and I can see no place for him in our current team. Mainly becauyse he is miles ahead of our team bt I will put my hands up and say i was wrong. I still think he is our best player, just not suited to our team

This aint a full match repoprt ALA col / judo; but purely a report of players that caught my eye. The replay is never as good as live so i appologise if i missed someone

    Thoughts?

Good factual stuff Queens, The way i saw it ... Cisse did a shift maybe not by the fickle standards and no mention of Mackie ... The team are growing that should be clear for all of au to see. Now back to prison and knit those blankets

    Not bad QL.

You need a spell checker badly.

Begrudging praise to Adel isn't good. The lad played very well. Go on, admit it.

Agree with you on SWP, Faurlin and M'Bia. All three of them were excellent.

There are a few players that you didn't mention, one player in particular is Robert Green. I thought he did very well. I think Julio Cesar will struggle to get that jersey off him.

Old Clint at the back deserves a mention too and probably Traore.

What about Mackie? Thought he did very well too. In fact, the whole team were excellent and really fought for the three points. On another day, we could have won more comfortably.

Yeh all did well except the second part of the first half where our passing was really horrible, M'bia was one of the big culprits then. (but he was very solid defensive). But luckily for us Fulham were as bad, we passed to them and they passed it back so we gave it back again, and they gave it back to us for the best part of 20 minutes! Fulham were the worst team I seen all season.

Personally, I would still persevere with Mackie up-front on his own. Given Cisse's propensity for scoring in the second half, then a substitute role might suit him well. Mackie's movement vs. Wigan, moreover, created a huge void in the middle of their back four; a scenario tailor-made for Adel when playing him through the middle.

Fulham were not at the races yesterday, but to be honest I've seen a fair few rubbish performances this year, and not just from us - Reading, Villa, Sunderland, West Ham (boy did we make them look better than they are). Southampton surprised me, but we were so dire it's impossible to judge their true standard. The best performers ( that I have seen live, in the flesh) Swansea by a mile.
In truth this is a weak league. This, plus the fact that we seem to have played all the big teams- except Chelsea- away in the first half of the season making me ever more confident that we can do this, with some comfort. Start winning at home, like at the end of last season, and we have done it.

Your report was good QL. I want to leave giving you some praise.

    Dont bother with anymore PM's.

I have said I will leave after having had my say and with my repuatation intact.

I think I have achieved both.

Brix, please can you issue me that permanent ban that I have asked for previously.

I realise that the TV probably didn't show it very well, but Cisse ran his socks off. Put a real shift in and was really unlucky not to score. Mackie on the other hand SHOULD have scored and there's no way he should start up front on his own ahead of Cisse imo.

Give it rest now, will you? We've had enough of this too and fro now. It was quite amusing for a while but now it's getting stale.

He's obviously not interested in you. Unrequited love is painful, I know, but you have to move on eventually.

Spot on, hopefully the penny has dropped with Cisse. Only thing he could have done more was get closer to Hangeland when he was bringing the ball out. This bloke looks like a brontosaurus on the ball, makes Clint look like Beckenbauer, we should have pressured him more often.
