It's nothing to do with Adel, Pirate, it's all about fragile egos and their need to play out their petty issues in the strangely public/private world of the anonymous Internet forum. Nope totally wrong there, Tarrabt is already doing things that simply others can't. Ever seen the ball to Routledge against Coventry?. ( based on just that one moment he was up there) His vision and ability is already there add to that a premiership ethic and he is world class ... Put him in La Liga or Italy he would rip it away in any side. Yes El Pirata, it is really interesting. 3 months ago, I was "offered out" on that thread you talk about when queenie came to London at Christmas. He would meet me in any pub I wanted. It is Christmas now Queenie, where are you?? Despite the threat of violence, at all times, I stayed calm. He has sunk to that level again here making personal stereotypical racial remarks. I felt his "offer out" was an immediate permanent banning offence. He then followed that up with a shockingly personal insulting PM which I also felt warranted an immediate permanent ban. To date, the mods have not taken any action against him. This is why I left this board. He should have been banned instantly and permanently for his behaviour and wasn't. My opinion was invited onto this thread. Queenie immediately jumped in with the personal insults by calling me an "Irish liar" and he has continued in the same vein the whole thread. I have tried to remain calm the whole thread and not to be too personal. Will the mods now take action for his behaviour?????

That's about the sum of it. Not world class, but the potential to be so, as Harold said yesterday, he can go as far as he wants, it's up to him. What really impressed me yesterday was not only the goals and dribbling, but some really incisive passing and occasionally moving the ball on much more quickly. That's what Faurlin brings to the team - wins the ball, moves it on quickly. Samba does the same if he opts against the powerful run. The Pirate has dwelt on the ball a bit too much lately, looking for options (his colleagues have let him down in providing these). But with these guys, M'bia, Adel in the hole, and Park, SWP (sorry DT, I still have a real blind spot on him), Hoilett and Mackie as wider options, the midfield is fine - if whatever combination is selected are on form and understand their roles. Do you think Granero could take on the number 10 role if Adel goes to the African Cup of Nothing? I would like to see him play further forward. Don't know what Lampard would bring to it, but those rumors are persistent.
Sorry mate, I didn't meant to say it that way.That last sentence was fishy but I decided to post it. I meant to say Adel will be key player for QPR the whole time he plays for us. I just can't find the words. As long as he's a ranger we'll not have better player. Maybe that way.

TBH if you asked me that question 3 months ago I would say yes without a doubt. But now it seems that his time playing CM in Madrid left a mark on him. It seems to me if you put him as an attacking mid he'd still play as a central mid going back for the ball and staying deep when we attack.He scored a more then few crackers in his career but now he seems so reluctant to shoot. On the other board someone said that he was the only player who wasn't warming up pre-match and in half time. Maybe rumours about his transfer are true and his days at QPR are numbered
For clarity's sake - "world class" for me is the ability to turn in match winning performances at the top level - Premiership, La Liga, Serie A, on a regular basis. No doubt Adel has the talent, just needs to add the consistency, which also depends on the team and tactics. And I'm with you Dave, I reckon had he been playing in south Europe where talent like this is nurtured rather than the object of suspicion and nit picking, he'd be recognized as top class CL level already. Having said that, I'm happy seeing the skills paraded in Hoops for as long as possible, even if it doesn't always have an end result. He summed himself up in a post match interview for the Beeb yesterday, essentially saying that he is happy to score flukey goals like the first one for the club, but the second is what he is about - dribbling and special finishes.
My gut feeling is he wasnt even going to be in the squad again and was only named once Boswinga went AWOL, he knew Diakite or Derry would get on ahead of him too.

I was browsing Fiorentina forums and they already are gloating for having Real Madrid midfield pair in their team. He left Madrid because he was on the bench and I really think there's some truth about his transfer all things consider.
His ego must be pretty bruised - not playing regularly for Real Madrid can be rationalized, but not making it into a rock bottom QPR midfield when SWP and Mackie are, cannot do self confidence any good. If he does leave, don't go with him Pirate. You have made a really positive contribution to this board in the last 3 months. And as you will by now know, QPR, like heroin, is very more-ish.
No problems here mate you have your opinion. I can see why a few doubt him but as I lived in France with loads of Moroccans so much I see through the way he comes across.
