Yet again, we were denied a more emphatic win yesterday by inspired goalkeeping - I think that's the 3rd time this season that that has happened!!! :steam:

At least on this occasion, we took all 3 points and how important will Bassong's block at the death turn out to be in mid May 2013 - he has impressed me more each game and I'm sure will turn out to be a very shrewd buy by CH??

And yet at other times he looked very shaky and I have thought that in most games when watching Wigan. He's a strange keeper, he made a few howlers when playing us last season too.

Have to agree with you Thai - he seems to be VERY good or prone to a few howlers. I thought Bunn had a better game yesterday and with Dave Watson coaching him - he can only improve!!!! <cheers>

The save from Pilkington was the best I've seen this season

Al Habsi reminds me of Kevin Keelan. Unpredictably brilliant. <ok>

I think Pilks had possibly his best game in a City shirt. The way he skinned and double-skinned Boyce and put Wes's cross on a plate was like a flashback to the days of Ruel Fox <yikes> <ok>

Did you get any joy with the link I posted? I only use it for test match cricket, so don't know if it's any good for football.
