There is a way ... those motorway cameras just take your number plate and trace you thro that ,not like the town speed cameras that take a pic of the person in the car ..........now if you can find someone that will take the points for you and you pay the fine and slip them a few quid thats the way as they say they were driving ,best to find someone that has a licence and does not drive any more ...........the speed camera place that sends out the fines just wants the money for the offence worth a try ? ..............;O) JH
they definately take pics now , this van had me before in Cardiff and they take the shot with a sniper rifle type camera , I asked for a pic for proof last time and they kindly sent me a couple. A friend of mine asked for a pic and they sent him one - and he was using his mobile phone
yes in the town area`s ,but not on motorway .................look into it worth a try and ask for a pic and see ...........

worst thing you can do is reply in any shape way or form to the first letter. You can claim you never received it. If you get a second letter then try to fight it. They only process about 25% of all tickets due to the lack of staff. Sit tight for a few weeks my man and see what happens, however if you have phoned them or replied then you need to act now.
Great isnt it lol. If you use it regularly, be careful as a copper.hides just inside newbridge catching people slowing to 30. They have caught hundreds already. Motorway speed cameras all take photos. I urge you to visit pepipoo. They will do theyre damnest to get you off.
yes, pepipoo is a good website, their advice 'got us off' a private parking ticket, i use the inverted commas as private parking tickets are illegal and unenforceable, yet many people are fooled into paying as they impersonate real council or police penalty charges. they really know their stuff, good shout chico.

Blueturk, cant give you any advice on getting off the speeding charge, The best way to avoid the Camera on the tolls is to use the M48 tolls (the old bridge) not a lot further in distance and you have 0 cameras or police on that stretch, i always use it when going back and forth to Cardiff.
I always use the old bridge , Aways always but it was friggin shut 2 saturdays ago .......and the speed-van knew it !
Got cruise control Quo 66 on a fkn motorway and stopping in half a mile for tolls how many deaths or accidents have there been on the Severn Bridge ......yep nil
traffic police arent interested in road safety, all their interested in is issuing as many fixed penalty charges as possible, they have quotas. if you've seen traffic cops on the BBC they will happily spent all day trawling the roads, looking for people who arent wearing their seatbelts so they can get £60 off them, rather than fighting crime and anti social behaviour.
You're right there Swamp , always see them (just) when the sun is behind them in the rush hour when all we want to do is get home after a hard day at work , or in my case a long week in London . Don't mind people getting done for crazy speeds in towns and cities ,but on the motorways ffs
Blue turk, see my reply above to the masked man, which falls in with what ISRMScore, lack of staff and not trained what to do. I also agree with using the old bridge. No cameras, less waiting at the tolls and you can do 120 back to the new motorway. I've never seen a camera on there in 10 years. It's not because the don't think people speed, they know they do but they are not interested in 1 driver doing 100, they are interested in 50 drivers doing 60.
