Strangely he didnt do as much going forward today as he usually does but was perfect defensively. He even admits hes got a lot to learn and it really does seem hes learning now.
I suppose this is really only his second season as a regular member of the starting XI. Usually sub or Carling Cup appearances for Arsenal, I think?
yeah and he was pretty much a L2 player defensively but looked very solid today. Its better to have a Traore type player at FB that has the skill and pace but needs to work on the defensive side than a Hill type player who is solid but slow and cant get forward. Traore could be a Kyle Walker type player if he carries on improving.

On MOTD Cisse looked to have the hump with Adel when the 2nd goal went in and didn't appear to be that bothered or celebrate the goal as he wasn't passed to. Is this just the MOTD edit or can someone who was there make comment??

I was too busy going nuts but Cisse is like that he was gutted when he missed the pen and Zamora got the rebound. He made a good run and celebrated the 1st goal but seemed to say something and not celebrate the 2nd.

I mean a purist would probably say AT should have passed but given that the ball went in the net and it took us 2 0 up would have been nice to have seen Cisse look a bit happier about it. As you say seems to be a recurring theme with him, expects the goals laid on a plate to him and gets the hump when it isn't regardless of the consequence. A slightly strange bloke really.
I know, youd have thought there would have been a massive relief when the rebound of the missed pen was knocked it but he just stood there with his hands on his head. It wouldnt surprise me if he was unhappy tonight and hed rather score and lose 3-1 and not score and win 3-1.
I think you need a little of that in any good centre forward but it seems to be in excess with Cisse. It's a team game and winning is the main thing and I'd expect someone like Cisse to be a bit annoyed to have not scored but delighted to have won. Maybe it gives a small window into what's been going wrong at the club for the last year or so.
