Since Hobbs got injured you have changed your manager He has probably changed the captain. You should know these things Charles Good to see Hobbs back anyway
To be fair to Charles, SB did mention in an interview that Hobbs was the club captain if I remember correctly
I heard Hobbs missed a sitter aswell For someone so good in the air defensively, he is pretty pathetic in the opposition box. He scored 1 goal for us in over 100 games and that was an open goal from a yard out!
Hobbs is still captain. He did do a 50p header in front of goal, as he often does, his defensive headers are certainly better than his attacking ones.
We have the most clean sheets in the league It should be a good game at the KC. Both attacking teams and 2 of the best teams in the league, both teams will fancy their chances
It wasn't really a sitter. It came at him really fast when he didn't know about it. That happened a couple of times!
Leicester need a win here in order to keep in with the leading pack- they're hanging on by their fingernails at the moment.
Proud may be on a wind up, but it is weird how he doesnt score from corners. Thought Hobbs was faultless yesterday, superb game. People have commented on TC looking slimmer but I thought Hobbs looked far far slimmer than i remember him from last season. Well done to all involved in their rehab, pity they cant help me lose a few stone.
No its not a wind up. You have to remember we had Jack Hobbs for 2 and a half seasons. With all the players you have signed from us I have always been honest about them. Jack Hobbs is a very good defender but when it comes to attacking he is useless. I dont understand how he is so strong in the air defensively but so usless when he goes forward.
We lost our first 3 away games this season and responded by winning 6 out of the next 7. Anyone in this league can do that and get into the playoffs/top 2. I doubt Reading was even in the top half around this time last season. There is a long way to go. We are just as capable as you of winning the next 3 or 4 and just as capable of losing the next 3 or 4
You're 4 points behind us now. A few weeks back you were about 6 points clear of us. That's 10 points we've taken out of you. Next weekend is the halfway point of the season when we will all have played each other once. The good news is that we have played Borer, Cardiff and Lesster at theirs- and they all have to come to KC. Happy days.
