Keep it going City another good 3pts, its very close at the top now, thought the choir was good at half time has well in fact we could do with them to sit in the middle of the East stand to keep the singing going.
Interesting to see how many police were positioned between the choir and the Huddersfield fans, with stewards as well. Were they expecting the choir to charge across and set about the Huddersfield fans? However, between the Huddersfield fans and the East Stand there were less police and no stewards in the lower seats. The exact area Millwall and Cardiff caused trouble. A cynic may be forgiven the police were leaving a window of opportunity for trouble to justify their over the top policing. Not to mention ruining a good day by enforcing a totally unnecessary 12.30 kick off. As I left the West Stand I was walking behind groups of Huddersfield fans who seemed oblivious of the fact they were taking their lives in their hands according to our hysterical police force. If the police are serious about trouble why do they make City fans walk all the way around the Stadium from the East Stand to get to tne car park but allow away fans out to freely mingle with the home fans? No doubt some of our more gullible fans will be on praising the police for standing between them and mayhem and bloodshed. Meanwhile on Monday 3,000 Arsenal fans will be at Reading, a similar ground to ours, with just one aisle as segregation with just a few stewards patrolling it. Why are we cursed with an incompetent police force and some of the most inept stewarding of any club?
I was reassured by the Humberside Police Force's helicopter gunship which buzzed the stadium briefly. Presumably there was Black Ops Team Leader Darren Downs on board with his elite force of crowd-subduing commandos should Walton St carpark erupt again in scenes of apocalyptic mano-a-mano bloodletting. In the event they weren't needed. Another feather in his cap. Shock and awe leaves KC yobs cowering in terror.
have you ever posted anything that's not a dig at the opinions of City fans? The Police actions today and in the past and their spouting in the paper cost the club money and affect the atmosphere at the game.
I thought the choir were crap actually. I would rather the club give tickets to primary/secondary schools and saturday/sunday league kids teams instead because kids will scream and shout and could potentially create further ticket sales in the future. Could just create a rota of when each few schools recieve say 300 tickets each and give 20-30 tickets to 5 teams a match?
Hopefully people will find their voice for the next two home games- we need to **** up Lesster even more than they're already doing for themselves.
I don't find C.C view boring, I find it very relevant. Why should we all simply accept every decision Humberside Police make ? The decision to change todays kick off time probably cost us 2,3, maybe 4,000 on the attendance. And why was it changed? Because of an isolated incident eight years ago ? Remind me of the rioting between Leeds and City fans over the years because that kick off time has also been messed about with. God knows what would happen if City ever got in the Premier League..........oh we did and we never saw any crowd trouble at all. I think todays game was given such a high profile and the appalling anti football (Hull City fans) non story in the Hull Daily Mail on Thursday about potential crowd trouble was done to fill police wage packets. That and only that. Its about time someone at City got wise to it and actually argued the point. Or do what rugby league do. Do not accept any reports of crowd trouble, and refuse to pay for policing at matches.
Ha, ha...yeah those larders say the buses got bricked outside the ground and were not wearing colours, so they're definitely not Hull fans cos Hull fans don't do that.
The kick-off change was completely unnecessary, the Hull Daily Mail are bunch of arseholes and we had to pay for extra policing for absolutely no good reason. We should police our own games, OB should only be policing outside the ground and it should cost us **** all, it's money for old rope.
i d still like to club to use their commercial rights to enlist a policce authority from another region who can do it better. I have been to a number of games in the greater Manchester area for instance and their measures are far more effective and possibly cheaper

And what does that show? The police refusing to act until their real targets came into view? After ignoring Huddersfield fans on banning orders who started the trouble, and having them rounded up on the car park, they ended up with a load of City fans in court and a couple of Huddersfield fans. Same with Millwall. They kick off but over 30 City fans end up in court and 1 Millwall fan. The policing at City is a joke beyond parody. I can't understand why someone who is supposedly anti violence informed everyone that if anyone stood up and obstructed his view then they would be sorted out by his young sons. Presumably his bad back would prevent him doing something himself.
No. I am only boring soft sods who go along with the local media and police downplaying or simply ignoring anything which happens at the minority sport whilst hyping up and exaggerating everything at football for their own ends. Sorry, egg chasing tiger.
I think you'll find that Walton Street car park is outside the ground and the offences in that video are public order offences, instigated by people who hadn't actually been to a football match.
the policing process went: 1) the landlord of the george; 2) a few disturbing telephone calls to OB whilst they were counting their overtime payments over a coffee; 3) the referee for finishing the game when he did; 4) the City fans for responding; and finally 5) The Hull Daily Mail for delivering kangaroo justice!
