Well thats a 2 week fine and I doubt he will ever play for us again. Maybe we can cancel his contract and bring Young into the squad as cover for the FB position. The staggering thing is that he cant even be annoyed with it after his recent "efforts".
I like the cut of Harry's jib. Reputations count for nothing. Selection based on form and attitude, the way it should be.
Won't believe this until its confirmed. According to guys last week, Faurlin stormed out the ground before the game and Granero did so after it. Its a wonder there were any players left for the post match warm down! Lets wait and see.
I have to say Boswinga is one of the worst defenders ive ever seen represent our club in the last 3 or 4 seasons. Another Sparkless signing.
Its hard to believe he played in the CL final 6 months ago, you can tell he doesnt care by the way he goes down the line and cut in and takes a 30 yard shot on his wrong foot, he hasnt hit the target yet with any shot.
Lets build our side round Hill, Mackie, Derry, Tarabbt and get players like Kasper. Paddy, Helgusson, Tommy Smith back .Players like Boswinga, Park, SWP etc are only at our club for their pay cheque and on their past reputation. Determination and a reasonable amount of ability added with team spirit is what counts to get results as seen 2 or 3 years ago.
Agree with Swords, lots of rumours surrounding players supposed disgruntled exits from LR before or following matches. Lots of posts declared Faurlin to be out of favour couple of weeks ago - this might be true, but probably better to wait and see.
The difference is Faurlin wasnt named as a sub so him leaving had no effect. Boswinga leaving while on the bench meant that he let the team and manager down. Its no different to Tevez refusing to play. Id imagine either Derry or Granero were not going to be subs and one had to be drafted in at the last minute.
SWP was our second best player today and I would think that he ran more yards than anyone else. Your comment is quite annoying!
Sad to say, Granero didn't look especially enthusiastic during both the pre match and half time warm ups. Hope he pulls it together, we need him playing like he did against Spurs.
Missing the point as usual. What we're saying is we don't know whether Faurlin actually stormed off or not. Or Granero for that matter. It will either be confirmed or quashed in the next couple of days.
I'm not disputing the fact that Boswinga's attitude was wrong, but that this may only be a rumour. And if Faurlin did leave the ground because he wasn't named in the squad (if this is even the case), then I would suggest that this attitude is also wrong and disrespectful to team and management. The effect is in fact irrelevant: the two cases are both breaches of discipline.
I dont think there is anything that requires a non playing player to be at the game, obviously its good etiquette to support your mates but leaving when you are in the matchday squad could be grounds for sacking.
Faurlin and Mbia are a great pair and Adel was excellent in attacking midfield role. I really doubt Harry will find place for Granero even if Granero pick up his game. Hughes mistake. As OP I really doubt it. Everybody knows you're nor allowed ti do stupid things with Harry in charge
Yeah, you're clearly missing the original point: the Faurlin rumours, regardless of whether he was in the squad or not, claimed that Faurlin was 'out of favour' and that 'Harry doesn't fancy him etc.,because people saw him leaving prior to kick off. These were all unfounded, obviously. We might have a similar situation here, that's all I suggesting.
Multiple people saw him leave the ground, that happened and the rest was just speculation. Id speculate that Harry wasnt happy with Boswingas recent performances where hes been bad, we will see what happens in the next few weeks, he will do very well just to be on the bench.
