similar idea to what i said last week. ward as DoF and andy tilson as manager in the same role as PT and LL. stewart be tilsons number 2. tilson and stewart worked together at exeter. i only want ward based on what he has done before with us but what has he done since is my only issue.
Ward is not the man for us IMO. I think we would just have a similar problem as we have had with any of the others. We may as well try our luck with a new up and coming man and save on the wages whilst we are at it. Stewart as manager on his own, if he thinks he is up for it
experience is needed in my view which isnt stewart. ward has experience. but like my last comment said, ward hasnt done anything since he left us.
We never know what is going on but unless Higgs and McGhee had talked about it before and the phone call was just a confirmation then I think it's pretty shabby. If you can't be man enough to talk to someone face to face and tell them you are sacking them and why and wish them luck in the future it's a bad job.
Not yet he hasn't. Was expected to be announced as Director of Football there sometime before Plymouth's game with Exeter on Saturday, but "something came up."
apparently there is a press conference tomorrow according to radio bristol after yesterdays game when announced MM was sacked. do you think they already have a replacement? or just going over why MM was sacked and it will be after xmas when a new man be in charge and north be in control in the meantime?
Who would want to manage rvrs, can't believe how far you've fallen since trollopes dismissal , how about recalling him as he knows the club and maybe you got rid of him too early. It wasn't long ago when we ( Millwall ) couldn't win for toffee at your ground and you were thinking of the leaque 1 playoffs with us, just like our manager Kenny Jackett you need someone who can wheel and deal on a limited budget and bring in players who die for the cause. Were no different to you, ground can be intimidating , we don't get the crowds we should but your board should share the blame for a side that should be challenging for leaque 1 top 6, let alone facing non leaque footy.
According to rumours he John Ward might be back with you. http://www.bristolrovers.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=302821
