Yet again.. One day we might actually buy a midfielder who can assert himself on the pitch. Not holding my breath over it.
Apart from Wes Morgan and Zak Whitbread no one in the team are up for a fight. Thats why i wanted Richie Wellens in there as he will get physical and scrap for the ball. King wont, Dyer wont, Knockaert wont so already we had the lost the midfield battle before the game started
Not sure we are strong enough to go up this season. We are to 'on & off'... 'hot & cold'... 'in & out' which ever way you´d like to put it. Easy to say after a defeat but there´s far to many teams in this lge that can go up & if you´re 'on & off' then, well it´s going to make it much much harder. Still atleast Hull won... may get to see them in the prem next Aug/Sept ???
Lots of twists and turns yet to come in this league. Predictions are impossible and just about anyone can beat anyone else so we're all in for a very interesting second half of the season.
Didn't know King was on the pitch second half til he was subbed! Still at least we've carried the Millwall hoodoo on again
I always thought today's result was inevitable. knowing how millwall go about things and knowing nigel is inflexable and won't gamble.. can't or won't think outside the box...today was crying out for a different approach, what could it of hurt? we got nothing anyway.. why couldn't we of played james and wellens just in front of the back four and of played knockart off futacs ? dyer and king always go awol in this type of confrontation.
had to read that twice.. think your missing a "not"... so why do we still get all the needle from your lot?
well lets hope if bruce has the same level of success as nigel did, he don't walk out for a better job ...cos I don't think the not606 forums could take it.. im NOT doing suicide watch ....
It's alright, I can't remember the last time a City manager left and went on to greater things. The usually just end up at clubs lower than us.
