    Blimey.

And to put it into context, if we had managed the same points per match average in our first 7 as we have the next 10, we'd be second in the table!

What a run. I know it is likely to end at some point but what a run. Simply brilliant.

Well done on your run, couldnt happen to a.nicer guy as hughton is a complete gent.

I was wrong to doubt the guys managerial ability at this level and is proving he can more then hold his own at this level.

Nothing to lose against Chelsea and Man City...we are without a doubt the ONE team nobody wants to face with a 10 game unbeaten run and confidence at an all time high! Lets go all out...OTBC

Does anyone else have the same fear as me - that I will suddenly wake up and find that we still have three points from seven games and have just been stuffed by Liverpool and Chelsea?

In all honesty, I expect Man City to absolutely stuff us 5-0, whenever we play them it's like a turkeyshoot!

Perhaps. When we played Arsenal and Man U I expected they'd be able to carve us open and create chance after chance, but they couldn't or at least didn't. It seems that we feel a little more vulnerable against the weaker team where we are expected to dominate possession and get drawn out, or the direct teams where we have less time to organize our defensive structure.

Anyway, who cares, fantastic result and performance again today. Lets celebrate!!!

We have won all our home games in the PL since the drubbing by Liverpool - we need fear no one and so what if we do lose our next 2 home games - we're well on the way to 'dining at the top table' next season. By my reckoning, just under a point per game should see us safe!!! Happy days. <cheers> <bubbly>

MUST be 2nd in the 'form league' now!!!

Teams will probably want to play us now and try and beat us. But I expect it to end with Chelsea and Man City.

lol I doubt QPR will finish above us. NCFC will probably finish about 10th and QPR just surviving again in 17th.

Absolutely, and to think that when I suggested at the start of the season that Fulham were a team who could struggle this year and who we should be looking to finish above I received a fair old bit of stick and was told I didn't know what I was on about by at least one certain regular on here.

Still think the same way Thai or do I actually know what I'm on about after all? ;)

At times we looked like a Championship side today but throughout the game, as in others, when we were up against it, a certain resilience that we haven't had in City teams in a long, long time, keeps us in it.
And we should relish everything at the moment as we dropped points when we were obviously the better team earlier in the season. Not that I didn't think we were the better team today but that 15 minute period after half time was awful to watch. Especially when we had created enough chances to have been at least 3 up by half time.
Everyone at the club deserves a massive pat on the back for what they have done in the last 10 games. And apparently, the only game Bassong has missed since we signed him was Liverpool, so he is certainly a Talisman as is my shirt. Ever since I bought it at the QPR match, every time I have worn it we haven't lost.

We were good today apart from a 20 minute spell after half-time when Martinez's half time substitutions started to pay off and I feared a repeat of last year.

That said, we should have been out of sight by half-time and only a superb display by Al-Habsi and some poor finishing meant the result looked closer than it should have been and had it not been for Bassong's brilliant tackle on Kone right at the death we might have been pegged back to a draw.

Happy times - let's relish them.
