Watching us in build ups, anyone would think that Suarez is in a goal scoring drought! We are constantly trying to set him up, why can't anyone else have a go? Gerrard, Shelvey and Sterling have all been in decent positions to have a shot but chose to pass or cross My concern before this game started was Benteke and Aston Villa playing on the counter-attack
I have noticed but my thought was more along the lines of why do we try to control it every time? Why not attempt a first time shot every now and again?
We can still win this, we just need to be more decisive in the final third. Our tempo was good, general play was good. Need Suarez and Gerrard to step their play up. Aint over yet lads
Well, this isn't going to plan...all the ball, zero use of it. Shelvey isn't good playing as a wide forward, not sure why he's starting there. Sterling looks tired and out of ideas (played too much probably). Bench looks poor as well, those three defenders and a goalkeeper aren't going to turn it around. Gonna be one hell of a come back to win this game and one hell of a team talk at half time.
I blame you lot for all the optimism pre game. I read 2-0 and 4-0! Couldn't have been more obvious we were gonna **** this up.
