Great effort by England today, by both departments. Well Paul Collingwood is out in Nagpur and he said at the start of this game that it could all be over in 3 days given the pitch - most people laughed at him, and i must say it does look unlikely, but even so you may not be too far of the mark if things went well for England in the morning.

Beg to differ. Call me naive, but I reckon there can be even better times ahead if I play my cards right and don't get stuck with a boring job and a family.

Was just going to post the same, they think there could be more dead as well, it's ****ing sick. Apparently 100 rounds were fired in the space of a few mins, why the **** do people need guns like that?.

Why the **** do people need guns? Outrageous that gun control laws allow **** like this to happen. I know, "guns don't kill people, people kill people" but it's ****ing stupid to think that argument is the end of it.

They argue that they need guns to protect themselves from other people with guns. Horrible downward spiral.

Do they have the death penalty in Connecticut? No they abolished it this year. So it will be life without parole for the mother ****er then. Damn.

Edit: Just noticed gunman has been killed.

The gunman is dead, so probably not. Even so, no matter how angry in the heat of the moment I am at this, I still don't think the death penalty is right.

Americans were given the right to carry arms because they lived in a large wild country where you had to take care of yourself. It's in their constitution. They are paying the price for it now as the gun lobby is too powerful for any politician to take on. We, on the other hand, gave up carrying arms because we had a good police force to provide protection. This resulted in few criminals carrying guns (until fairly recently). We have had massacres but these are rare...the British don't have the deep love of guns that sections of Americans do. Why you are allowed to own machine guns (hardly for protection or sharp shooting) is beyond me. Why children? Said to be the father of one of the children at the school.

I agree guns should be banned apart from places were people live in bear populated areas.

Guns should be banned in public places apart from cops, army etc.

I have seen examples of the benefits of gun ownership, but incidents like this really do put it into question. Then again, there are plenty of ways to commit mass murder without a gun.

American news? Still sick interviewing kids specially at that age, but then why aren't their parents stopping it?.
