8 shots on target and 8 goals? Did they even play a keeper?!

 

Where's my moment huh? 24 days of game time on my pentagon challenge on FM12, and still 0/5 Champions Leagues won. I will not give up on this.

Bought FM earlier, in my 3rd friendly both Lallana and Schneiderlin get injured. Out of 6 and 10 months respectively. I don't like this game.

For future reference, play the kids in friendlies.

 

I have been sacked twice in my career. First by Mpumalanga Black Aces and second by Seongnam.

 

Certainly not in every friendly. The first team players need to get match fit.

 

I generally play 5 or 6 kids in friendlies with the rest being first teamers.

 

My under 18's seem to be losing every game. Very promising.

 

Hmmm...agree it seems a tad easy this time out! Just finished first season in 7th to qualify for Europa league.

Jay-rod bagged 17, lambo 16. Picked up Ademilson from Sao Paulo for his release clause price of £5.25 of my January millions & he chipped in with 8 goals in 9 appearances.

Bought centre back Giuseppe Bellusci from Catania for £4m at the start & he topped the ratings at 7.43 for the season

 

Fourth season, 5-1 and 6-1 thrashings of Man U and City, respectively, have me top of the league in February. And yet I got bounced from a weak Europa group by Standard Liege, and from the FA Cup by Sheffield United (while playing my best eleven in the hopes that Cortese would STFU about my utter lack of cup success).

Lacina Traore is comically good, as well; bought him because my posse of newgen strikers aren't particularly good yet, and he's scoring a goal per game in his first season with me, best in the PL, second in the league in assists, second in overall rating.

 

Finally won the league with Saints. Took a while.

 

My Gf is buying me FM13 for Xmas, how different is it from FM12?.

 

Game engine is a fair bit different; I've had to adapt the way I play because the things I used to do don't work as well anymore. Training is different, in a good way; rather than having to design a schedule for each and every player to get the best results, you can train them by role.

And as others have mentioned, playing with Saints is far, far too easy now. Made CL in the second season.

Christmas holidays are officially here, time to smash some FM. Thinking of doing San Marino challenge again...

 

Has anyone seen a player do a double back flip in celebration to a goal? Lamela has just done that for me!

 

I'd be disappointed if Mayuka didn't do it.
