That's me actually when it comes to modern technology. I'm just not interested in it to be honest. However I have just moved flat again and I am on the look out for a new flat screen telly. Probably only want to spend £300 at most. Times are tight with forking out a months deposit and first months rent and going through a divorce etc. Any suggestions for make to get? I've usually found Samsung to be pretty reliable for most things. No WUM's please.
Logic (LG) are ok and about the same price as Samsung. I refuse to buy anything Samsung because they sponsor the scum down the road. Always found Sony to be reliable but it depends on what sort of screen size you want, if it is LED, LCD, Plasma etc. as they can get very pricey. I've usually got a good deal at Richer Sounds, they do end of range bargains and because most manufacturers bring out upgrades all the time there are many "old" items (less than a year, sometimes no older than 6 months) that they need to get shot of. Have a look to see if there is one anywhere near you. Watch the Gadget show, have a **** over Polly, then search the net for info on the different makes and models within your price range. Rule of thumb is that if it is being sold in Asda it is the bottom entry (oooerr!!) model.
LG make all the screens for every TV and sell them to other companies including apple I've got a Panasonic. Can fault it
I've got an LG, went on the bunk, phoned curries n told them and they said nothin we can do either pay to get it fixed or buy a new one so i got beelin that day, organised a heavy team to get the **** down there and do their shop in then i thought 'bealester what u playin at u dont even operate at this level' which i dont im not a hard nut or a gangster or anythin so i sat down and assessed the situashon, got onto scottish law, which dictates that a tv should do u a minimum of five years. so i phoned curries again and got the whole 'we cant do anything about it' pish so i said 'listen hen, scottish law says...' yada yada then her tune changed completely 'oh erm, let me put you through to someone sir' ended up gettin thm to come out n look at it and if its broke through no fault of ur own, ie you havent smashed it, you get it fixed/replaced for free. im the man
I think Sony do their own screens - but that might only be for lappies. From what I've seen you canny seem to go wrong with Samsung or Sony for picture quality. But, iy's difficult to tell when yer lookin in through people's livin room windaes.
You can watch the Gadget show using a range of multi-media devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops, PC's etc. I did suggest Beale then searched on-line for further information so, quod erat demonstrandum keep your nose out you sad old lock in.
You are getting rather hot under the collar which leads to the conclusion that Gambol is correct. It never happened
