Tony Barrett (The Times) Article with Damien Comolli

I was wondering if anyone had read the article this morning. You need a subscription but people have been tweeting about it all morning. Quite a few shocks really:

- The board asked KD and DC if they wanted Gotze. KD and DC said Henderson was priority.
- Mata was open to move to LFC last summer but Kenny wanted Downing instead.

Does anyone have anymore information?

Also, maybe KD and DC knews that Gotze and Mata were long shots and went for something realistic?

 

Not sure I would call £16m for Henderson realistic
