You should know by now that I'm not even going to begin to treat that effort as a joke..! :)

Evidence: Rupert Murdoch, News International, Sun Newspaper... Shall I go on..?

True Chilco, but the extra daylight in the evenings make up for it. Did you know that around the end of February, early March, we get an extra half hour of daylight at the end of each week..! It's positive thoughts like those that make these dark evenings a little more manageable.

    EDIT: Embrace the wobble..! :)

That's an adware virus called "Text Enhance" on your computer. It's probably installed itself as an extension/add-on on whatever browser you have, so you should be able to delete it like you would any other extension. Clear your cache and cookies as well to be sure.

Well, there was that fake apocalypse in America not so long ago, and the believers just went around holding signs and stuff. You don't want to go around committing a load of crimes on the day that God is going to decide whether you've been naughty or nice (is that how it works?). I'm hoping for some entertainment, but hopefully not too much destruction.

The owner of Cobra beer is on Question Time, and they're discussing our old friend - the Kate phone-call scandal.

He says pranks are funny, pranks have always existed and the world would be a very dull place if people did not make jokes at eachothers expense.

However he also says, prank-calling such a sensitive place as a hospital is unacceptable and not amusing at all.

Nor is asking for private information on someone's health.

Pranking a hospital is bloody stupid, I agree, but it was the media who made the nurses a laughing stock nationwide. Then they have the nerve to pass the blame when one of them kills herself.

I have a feeling it will be an anticlimax. I'm not sure how many people legitimately believe it.

Deja vu! Does this happen all the time over there? I swear it happened a couple of years back as well.

Scotland gets more daylight after the spring solstice than us in the South. Mind you, bloody hell, is it cold, and that's in Lanarkshire. Funnily enough though, I had quite a warm Hogmanay in the North West Highlands, back in the late 80's. It wasn't seasonally warm, but the whisky and cigars were superb and warmed the spirits.

There are times when I miss smoking. Usually, it is when I have a good whisky in one hand..! Perhaps I'll take it up again if I make it to 85 or so. ;)

Also turn off hard disk monitoring for one restart of the computer, otherwise it might auto install itself again.
