We have updates! Kind of.... Chelsea have announced that the club will be putting on subsidised coaches and a train for £10 return! Fair play to the club... at least we will have some freedom!

Bits and bobs. Two new parties allegedly coming into the fray if GFH can't resolve the discrepancies with Bates. I've stopped obsessively reading about it like I was doing a few months ago, but get the feeling there will be a few million for us to spend in January one way or another.

We have been given 3000 tickets... what a farking joke! Absolutely disgraceful. They have no real grounds to do this... And we are advised to go by official club transport with no alcohol served inside the ground... Tickets being sold on loyalty points

I thought I would do a quick update for any Chelsea fans wanting to go to the game:

-We have been allocated 3000 tickets in the usual away end. No alcohol to be served in this part of the stadium.
-Tickets are £34 for adults and £32 in restricted view for adults.
-Tickets are on sale now to the away scheme members but will be sold on loyalty points to season ticket holders and members
-Fans advised to take official club transport (£10 by train or coach)... Coaches leave Stamford Bridge at 12.30pm
-The train will take between 3 and 3 and a half hours. It will be going to Wakefield Westgate and not Leeds. No alcohol will be served on the train. Fans will be escorted from Wakefield to Elland Road and back again after the match.

Well... looks like I'm wrong and we're going to sell out now the takeover's done and three wins on the trot have given us a feel-good factor at the club. It's good to have a feel-good factor, by the way (just to let you know). Will be in excess of 35,000 in total, the way it's going.

Few Chelsea fans thinking of going in our East Stand Upper (where the last remaining tickets are). I wouldn't advise it, chaps.

Anyway, glad the Police are directing your fans to the safe haven of Shakey Wakey, which definitely isn't a Leeds Utd hotbed full of sink estate nutters who'll want to pummel the face of anyone with a southern accent... <laugh>

Yep we're going to Wakefield... how long does it take by bus from there to get to Elland Road?

It's still a shame that we couldn't have the full allocation but hey ho... Will still be a great atmosphere. I didn't expect you to be anywhere near selling out tbh so fair play there. Nope got my ticket in the away end so no East Upper for me.

15-20 minutes from Wakefield to Elland Road (probably less for the train-goers). You can give a wave to the lynch-mob outside the South Stand as your coaches make their way past.

Bucks, be careful mate. I've been to Leeds and they have for some of the biggest scum following their team. They don't deserve to be called football fans. They will not think twice of causing trouble and you will need to be alert.

When I went they were throwing missiles at the official travel coaches which had women and kids on them. Good luck I hope you hammer the bastards (on the field) even though winning greatly lessens our chances in the cup.

    Be safe

Cheers mate for the heads up but I know it's going to be pretty hostile to say the least! We're on the club train and we get bussed with a police escort to the ground and I'm sure we'll get a 'friendly' *ahem* welcome... Should be a great atmosphere though between two fierce rivals... Looking forward to it

Yes but your percentage of knobs is far closer to 100% mark than any other club as you've just proved

What did you expect, given you've labelled a whole city's football fans as "scum"? It was hardly the way to start friendly banter.

He didn't really though, just said Leeds had some of the biggest scum following their team - i.e not all of them. All teams have knob heads following them but Leeds are one of those clubs that still needs to move on from the 80's. So many shocking stories of people who've gone to mid week games at Leeds - it's only a game FFS.

It happens at more clubs than you'd expect, just only gets media attention when "Leeds are at it again". I guess you all know who Aaron Cawley is by now, the scumbag who assaulted Chris Kirkland. But if I told you that a Huddersfield Town fan assaulted Alan Smith on the pitch last season would you have heard about it? Would you call all Huddersfield Town fans scum? Would you say that they still had to move on from the 80's?

I guess you've forgotten that fans of your club stabbed to death a Cardiff City fan outside Wembley at a Wales international match only last year. Or did that one just get labelled as "every club has them" and forgotten about?

Not about media attention, it's about friends and family who have first hand witnessed the atmosphere and abuse in and around Elland Road. Can't say I've ever experienced this at grounds I've been to like S.B, Anfield and White Hart Lane etc.

Maybe you are all darlings and Wednesday will go by without incident....

This happens at some games at every ground in the country. I never implied Wednesday will go by without incident, but do not for even a second imply that the blame will lie entirely on our doorstep. You may not notice abuse at Stamford Bridge, but I guarantee it will happen. What about the bloke who made monkey gestures to Danny Welbeck? I'm sure Hernandez can tell you about the abuse he received from your supposedly angelic fans. It's incredibly rare for visiting fans to get the kind of abuse you mention at Elland Road. You need to accept that all clubs are just as bad as each other and no amount of media attention or exaggerated stories from your family will change that. I personally have experienced it at Leicester City where bottles and other missiles were thrown into the away end without retaliation. Unlike you I'm not about to label Leicester City fans as horrible scum, because I'm not naive or prejudiced enough to believe that all clubs don't have these tosser.

Keep your primitive judgement to yourself.

Where did I label Leeds fans as scum??

Just pointing out the opinion of many that Leeds are generally worse than most. One prat doing monkey gestures is hardly the same as the premeditated abuse we're likely to receive on Wednesday. Saying all clubs are as bad as each other is essentially why things don't change at some clubs.

And...this is the Chelsea board so I'll voice my views as I see fit. If you don't like it, you don't have to be here.
