Cazorla was one of the only players who looked bothered. He had atleast 3 very good shots saved and hit the crossbar. If he and Rosicky had started together, we would've won. To criticise the guy for missing a penalty is really unfair, especially when he hit the bar. It shows the small fractions in this game. Any other day, it could've been half an inch under and gone in.

 

The point i was making is that some fans are ready to criticise the same old names for our defeat on Tuesday but offer no criticism of those players who missed their penalties

Same old **** I'm afraid. Scapegoating individuals when the whole team were well below par.

 

I don't know how much below par the team were even. On 9/10 nights that performance would have been enough to win. Probably not win as well as they should win, but a win nonetheless.

 

We had more than enough chances to win three times over

i actually don't go on matchdays, i just go there to watch away games i'm not attending. on match day i just take the tube, and go straight into the stadium, i get burger on the way to stadium. i usually arrive 1 hour to 30 minutes before kick off.

 

An hour and a half is a long time to arrive before the game and NOT go for a beer. Come on A87 why don't you meet us for a pint before the Villa game ? Your shout
