Champagne is in the fridge. However I think I may just sit down a try to take it all in. This week in particular, the QPR rollercoaster has been in full flow, and I'm drained. I want to watch Claridge squirm and say that we were the best over the season. Of course, I may change my mind later!
Breaking news...... Steve Claridge has been 'promoted' by the BBC for his accurate, unbiased coverage of the Football League to continue his show following the 3 Championship clubs promoted to the Premiership next season..... Only joking

I opened a bottle of champagne after the Watford game after we proved beyond doubt that we were the best team in the championship. I opened another today after our promotion was confirmed. I'll open another next season after we beat United.
The Strongbow is going down a treat, we got flags and scarves flying out the windows and our shirts on ! Like Rollercoaster, I'm still taking it in. I saw my first game with my Dad when I was six. 37 years later, I've travelled everywhere watching the R's, was there for the FA Cup Final and replay, the Milk Cup Final, PlayOff Final. This is the first time I have seen Rangers WIN anything. I told my boy who is 12 how lucky he is to see this and to remember this day. A truly emotional time. So I'm very happy, but pensive.
