I am going down to Old Trafford (well Manchester for the weekend) and for the money I am going to spent I want the team to play everyone who is fit and give it a good go at a very good United side as you never know!!!â¦.BUT I feel this is not in the best interests of the team I think resting Fletcher would benefit the team in the long run, especially with the run of games we have in December and the heavy heavy reliance we have on his goals and natural technical ability. I mean what if he gets injured? Where would that leave us till January? Plus Wickam and Saha definitely deserve a chance to prove themselves Iâve been a lucky enough go to a lot of United away games and over the years. And we have given them something to think about every single time and its always been a fantastic day out whatever the score. (the 2-2 draw a few year ago springs to mind) but our current situation and their form they have at the minute I will not be offended if Martin rest big players and tries something different . Thatâs just MY opinion. I am not going to the match for the result I am there to support the team. WIN LOSE or DRAW Martin OâNeil's Red and White Army
I'm at the game as well. Sincerely hope we give it a good go and would like to see Wickham given a chance. Can't see much better than a 2-0 defeat mind and won't be disheartened whatever the result...
Going to be a tough, tough game. For me it's all out DEFENCE. 3-0 defeat will leave me happy (relatively speaking that is)
im hoping we field a full strength team and have a go. Man u have their panties in a twist over poznangate so we could really get under their skin,.especially Rooney
On an aside, I was going with my brother and old man. Those two got hospitality tickets in a corporate box and have left me alone in the stand. ****ers. I love prawn sandwiches.
I personally I want us to have a go, but that’s me being selfish because I will be attending and but I don't think people should get upset if we don’t field a full side. Realistically our current squad is too small to challenge the likes of United away. FACT, we have to be sensible. If heaven forbid we get knocks to any of our key players it would be an absolute nightmare for the rest of the season. At the same time I fully expect the players who would come in to play their socks off and give a decent performance and grind out some sort of result After O’Neil has had January and the summer I will be disappointed for any professional player who is fit to be rested next season. But we have to concentrate on staying up and winning home games in my opinion is the way teams survive
I'm not criticising mate, it's a catch 22 situation.... I'm expecting us ro get twonked at the weekend, but......ahh **** it, you know what i mean..
I think we should actually have a go. I'd hate to think we stuck a half arsed team out and get hammered 4 or 5.
I would take that and have everyone fully fit for Southampton, rather than lose 1 or 2 nil and some players aggravate their injuries. A couple of teams have done it before, remember Ian Holloway rested his full Blackpool team away at Man Utd and then won his following game at home with a fully fit squad in a relegation 6 pointer.
**** em. Poznan II - The Return of the Mackem 1-2 to the lads and Rooney sent off crying for shedding hairs all over the gaff.
He cheats on coleen He cheats on coleeeeeeeen He shags grannys He cheats on coleen! Expect this to be heard over the tinterweb
lets play 2 jpfront and see what happens nothing lost if we lose, nut it will surprise manu lets just go for it
All out attack, for me. Give 'em something for their shaky defense to think about. Save the Poznan for late on. Defiance if we're losing; piss-taking if we're winning.
who else has attacked them , no one and they have all lost so as I say nothing ventured nothing gained
Everton and Spurs and they got their rewards in fairness, weve been poor at home this season anyway performances wise and we cant seem to keep clean sheets there. People are predicting us to beat you guys by 3 or 4 but I dont see it that way.
