Definitely think they'll beat stoke at home unfortunately. Fingers crossed for a scrappy 1-1. The other two are realistic though, if Bolton and Spurs can find their form again.

    There's always hope!

They can draw against Bolton and Stoke, allow Spurs to beat them. Then let us get like 4-0 and 5-0 against Fulham and Aston villa, I'd settle for that.

Ah yeah, two draws and a loss. We only need a six goal swing though. So if they lost say 2-1 to spurs, we could have three 2-0s (or equivalent) and beat them by 1 on GD.

Also, this is just more evidence that we're not actually that far behind being top 4. Had we beaten wolves, blackpool and wigan at home, as would be expected, we'd be 1 point above City currently.

We're not that far behind considering our ''poor squad''.
Good management and the right level of investment, will ensure that Spurs and City and United and Chelsea will be butting heads with a different Liverpool next season.
I still believe the transformation at the moment is wonderful,we've gone from the biggest laughing stock in the league to the most dangerous. And long may it continue.

It looks like our job is going to be made easier.Spurs are currently drawing with Blackpool.Liverpool are finishing the season like an express train.Spurs like a clapped out banger. Then again what would you expect from a team managed by Harry ''1 trophy in 30 years'' Redknapp.

Spurs 1-1 Blackpool. That put Spurs 1 point ahead of us and we've both played 35 games. We do have better goal difference though. Whatever happens, it's going to be interesting.

I had a feeling they'd get one back. Ah well, draw will do us. Even if they beat Man City, which I hope they do, we can beat them at home and go above them still.

Spurs would do well this summer if all they did was get rid of Gomez.

They need to get rid of more than Gomes.
Apart from Dawson, they don't have a centre back worth mentioning.Woodgate and Deadleg King rival Hargreaves as the premierships biggest crocks.
They are going to make massive losses on some players ie Bentley.
They have a potentially awesome striker in Pavluchenko and they don't use him.
If the nitwits want Redknapp as Capello's successor, they are bigger saps than I thought they were. He's overall a pretty poor manager.5th is all but in Liverpools hands, and in January top 8 was being fair.

Redknapp is a good manager but I don't see why people think he is better than Capello. Why do you think Pavluchenko is awesome KPR? I have never been that impressed with him.

What I meant was Gomez alone must have cost them at least 6 points (and with it 4th place). He cost them a point against Cheslea (although it didn't cross the line, he let it slip through anyway) a possible win today with giving away the penalty and also a win against Cheslea at WHL when Drogba's shot got through him. Those are just off the top of my head. If they had Joe Hart and City had Gomez, it could be a whole different picture.

Also regarding Pavlyuchenko - he can be brilliant and sh*t, often in the same game. He'll bang one in on the turn from 18 yards and then miss a tap in form 5 yards. Spurs haen't got anyone consistent enough up front.

He's bloody dangerous when given a chance.I reckon Arsenal would love to have someone as powerful as him in their ranks. He's built like Adebayor.
I would love to have him as another option at Liverpool but I doubt if Spurs would sell. He's wasted at Spurs.

I've never thought he was that good but maybe I haven't watched him enough. Spurs will probably sell him in the summer and they don't have the financial power of man city to refuse reasonable bids so there is still a chance of you getting him

Firstly.Redknapp is vastly over-rated as a manager,He's rated because he's English. He's nowhere near the level of Wenger.Whom I rate very highly.I still believe that he's a class act.If only he would take his finger out and realise Arsenal need 3-4 bruisers. He could walk the league if he signed heavyweights of the calibre of Viera,Pires,Henry,Petit,Ljungberg,Edu,Gilbero,Wiltord.
Arsenal are the neutrals ''favourite team''.If they added muscle to their flair, they would be unstoppable.
Kenny needs to add flair to his muscle.
As for Pavluychenko,Thats the thing,I've not seen enough of him either,What I have seen is one incredibly dangerous striker.

Pavluychenko is a diving colliky wastrel, I would never want him at Liverpool in a million years. He does ridiculous dives.

How Ironic Bale fakes injury to get a player booked and then actually gets injured later on by Adam.

Harry redknapp belongs at the likes of Pompy West Ham or Fulham. I mean, apart from Bales hattrick a one man show, spurs were not up to much in the CL at all and never stood a chance. So he threw away 4th spot which they would have gotten if they focused on the league.

I tell theee the amount of spurs fans that were calling Liverpool fans deluded after spurs came 4th last season was a lot. Now lets see them eat those words:)

Could City and spurs mess it all up and give us 4th:) Not likely but it would be a funny thing

Next season we should be realistic and dismiss Spurs as a rival,as they won't be a rival.Spurs benefitted from our bad fortune. However thats over. We're back,We're going to obliterate them.
City have the potential to be dangerous. But they are poorly managed. However we shouldn't be aiming for top four,we should be aiming to go and destroy Man United and Chelsea.

Do you think Dalglish will be given the cash to build a squad capable of a title challenge?

If so, ask him if Coventry can borrow a few on loan.
