You forgot Will Atkinson - he played very well wide out until his legs went. Great performance and the money they earned from this and the upcoming semi final will come in useful.

I was very pleased for PP He was unlucky at City with the timing of his arrival and the way in which Col U tried to **** him (and us)- very difficult working circumstances. I reckon he would have taken us forward had he arrived in May with Col U's good wishes instead of in August with pre season plans in tatters.
The players didn't want to play for him mate. Some of them defeats under him were awful- Colchester 5-1, losing to Barnsley at home 3-2 after being 2-0 up. There were a handful of games where the players looked up for it under Parky- West Brom (away), Wolves (at home), Leicester (away), Southend (away). But that was only a few instances. Think Pearson did the right thing in sacking him half way through the season. i dunno if it was them ice baths that caused the problems, or whether that was just a daft rumour, but he's got back on track now.
It's an odd trait I think. For example, in this specific case my Facebook was full of comments the other night like 'Yay get in Bradford' and 'in your face Arsenal' from people who I literally have never even heard talk football before. Prior to the other night they wouldnt have even known what division Bratfud were in. Or why do City fans celebrate a club winning who as a Yorkshire rival we have probably been in direct competition with more than any other? In the past our fans have hated them now all of a sudden it's a back-slapping exercise. I'm not saying it's wrong, I just find it odd.
Definitely this. I was closely involved and some of the body language from the players after just a few weeks into his reign spoke volumes. He ruffled too many influentuial feathers early doors and from then he didnt stand a chance.
His team selections were appalling, it was like each week, he was trying to set a record for the most players played out of position in a single league game. He took a good squad to the bottom of the table, he lost the team and he lost the fans, he was basically ****e for us. Though he did make some decent signings in Turner and Ricketts.
Awwwwww, bless....didn't they like the ice baths then? All those sports scientists, all those athletes and players round the world who take ice baths in a bid to gain a 1% advantage in their preparation for their sport, they're all idiots, City's barrack room lawyers know best. There were some **** results under PP, just as every manager of every team has them, and Pearson did right to terminate him if things were not going right because the club will always be be bigger than one individual. But that doesn't mean PP was a bad manager.
Neither does one win against Arsenal make him a good manager, he's been doing ****e for five or six years now. If we hadn't got rid, he'd probably have taken us back to League One. As it was, he went off to Charlton and took them down to League One instead.
See my earlier post about not having the time/resources to make a decent fist of it. He took over after PT steered us (just) out of the relegation places a few months earlier, it's not like we declined much.
