Watford Short News Items

Interesting talk in the business lounge today. It seems that though the last regime were all for the business club, legends etc, the Pozzo family aren't as supportive, and though a fair amount of money is raised through their support of the club, they are yet to have had any communication with the 'powers that be'..and aren't sure where their future is within the club. They are hoping for meetings soon, but having dealt before with Raj (can't remember his surname) they now don't have any form of contact, seemingly because the club aren't interested in building that side of their funding. Strange.

 

Friendly game v Stevenage -

Won 4-3 Beleck scored 3 and Battocchio with the other.

 

Bernard Mensah got some game time....just sayin'

 

Sky suggesting Zola wants the Chelsea job...sometime in the future which is probably fair enough given he is a legend there.

 

If Zola leaves us for Chelsea, then it should mean that he has done a very good job with us... I think I could live with that!

 

Zola may want the job but I'm sure RA wont want him, same as he never wanted RDM to be a perm manager.

I remember not so long ago when another manager professed his love for our club. The difference this time is that I think GZ means it and I believe him.

i wouldn't have thought so...but like every good woman who thinks she can change a man, maybe it's the same with football managers and Chelski

My ex-wife tried to change me, and then when I was going out with someone after our divorce was finalised, said that the person I was going out with was trying to change me - talk about hypocritical!

 

Kinda proud to say the Watford Manager and two former players are nominated...it's a Watford month, but yep, no thanks!
