Close wan there. I don't think it was a foul, but equally the ref blew up ages before the ball went in.
Well, that was an absolute heap of ****e. The Matthews strike was a beauty which stuck out on a night of misplaced passes, poor decision making and all round ****eness.
That was awful , just pleased to be home . Broonie nearly took my head off with a clearance into the crowd just before half time . Imagine watching football like that every week ?? No thanks
I hope they had enough bovril in a wee ground like that for you all. Being an auld softie when it comes to sick weans, it was nice to see the Oscar flag up towards the Brechin end <montheweeman> Looked ****in' baltic right enough
In our centenary year 1988 we played Stranraer who were bottom of div 3 , we won 1-0 at home in the 3rd round they missed a last min pen and the sitter follow cup , come sunny May the celts lifted the cup , that day I bet Celtic to win 9-0 , 10 -0 and 11-0
Again the over optimistic amongst us has jinked us. Any win on that pitch that wa deteriorating by the minute was hard won and deserved. It certainly was no grass surface we were playing on, as the frost had covered every blade of grass and made football a lottery, it certainly evened up the skill difference and Arbroath were able to match Celtic for speed and passing. No player could run full out and no player could control the ball well enough on the treacherous surface to pass quickly and accurately. I don't think there was much value for money
You called me a tit in a previous post , then you havn't the brain to know that a frost hard pitch isn't a leveller , I suggest you might be the tit .
