Some footage of Gervinho pre-Arsenal means nothing, yet some footage of Bendtner pre-loan means you can judge exactly how his entire career will pan out.
Bla bla bla. Here's a fact for you: We just lost to a league 2 side That's some good managing by Wenger I'd say! What I do know is that we're going to most likely go 8 years without a trophy, definitely 9 without a league title, and that we currently sit a whopping 15 points behind the leaders. This I all know.
Some pre-Arsenal footage of Gervinho playing good has no bearing on him right now. Pre-Bendtner footage meant nothing to me, because it wasn't much, so I didn't think much of him, but then when we got to see more of him at Birmingham, I still didn't believe he was a prospect for us, and I was proven right in my estimation.
Btw, who the f--k said anything about Wenger on this thread? I even initially started this thread by saying we can turn things around, but we must only not play the rubbish, in the likes of Gervinho and Ramsey. Sheesh, you say I lack critical thinking skills, I think in reality you're the ****ing idiot, bringing up things that haven't been mentioned, in the civilised world, we term that a straw man argument, you probably don't know what that means, go search it on wikipedia.
I disagree. It shows what he is capable of technically. Saying that, it says little of how he would cope in a different league both mentally and physically. Both of these you have to take a bit of a gamble on. It doesn't seem to have paid off for the moment. Does it mean he's ****? Of course not.
Arsenal 87 A miss is a miss, if the objective is to score & you fail to do so! Gervinho & Ramsey are brothers in an inconsistent period, but, they aren't alone! You rightly point to the performances of Rosicky as a shining light now & a turning point in our Season, however, I remember the contributions of RVP, Song, Koscielny, Benayoun & Walcott having as great an impact at the tail end of 2011/12, & the fact that Rosicky was arguablyworse than Ramsey is now, before then.
Yes, siry Benayoun was another, that's basically my point. Benayoun and Rosicky started featuring in the team ahead of the likes of Gervino and Ramsey, the team started clicking more.
So you became an Arsenal fan the same year as Wenger joined. So basically when you started supporting Arsenal all you knew was success. Now we are not having success you've decided to throw your toys out of the pram. p.s I was well over 30 in 1996
Well I didn't know much, I had the tele turned on, and there was a football match, and it happened to be Arsenal playing. They were playing some good football, I liked the jersey, and what I really liked, was the stadium. I'd never seen a stadium that quite looked like that, there was something very special about how the stadium looked, and then I said, this will be my team. . Everyone else at the time was supporting Manunited. Not everything was about success, 1999,2000, and 2001 weren't exactly successful years, we challenged, but we lost in a Uefa cup final, an FA cup final etc.
I always drink in the 12 pins. We'll have to partake of a pre-match aperatif before the Newcastle game.
No, I didn't know much about Arsenal, when I said this will be my team, didn't know about Wenger, or who was even coaching the team etc. But then I immersed myself into Arsenal, and now, many years later, I am a season ticket holder, :-D.
