Got home last night to find all the doors and windows wide open, rubbish all over the floor, everything gone. Why me?, It's Christmas for Christ sake, the time for respect and goodwill to all men, heartbroken, and gutted. Just hope you never feel the pain I did. It was my Advent calender not yours. Happy Christmas to all in Norwich.
Well, have some sympathy for me; the advent calender my parents sent me was very oddly shaped and didn't fit in my fridge. Luckily my student house is sufficiently cold it didn't melt.
It's a horrible thing to happen. Had it ourselves, but it won't always seem as bad as it does now. My sympathies.
Sorry to hear that, monarch. I thought behaviour like that only happened in inner city slums - like Stanway, Lexden or Wivenhoe. And wherever pikey_mikey lives. Seriously, though, I hope you get back on your feet really soon Féliz Navidad
Sorry to hear that, hope your insurance sorts everything out (hope you had some). Not had it happen to us luckily but it did happen to next door when I was younger and I was gutted for them as I was house sitting at the time. Hope things turn around soon for you and you still manage a good Christmas
... and the prize for misunderstanding a post goes to.....? Have a good one Monarch, are you doing the sensible thing and staying in the sunshine, or coming back home to freeze your balls off?
Monarch bor, take stock of your situation. Despite having your home trashed, you still have the most important thing left . . . yourself. Life goes on despite despicable folk who seek to spoil others enjoyment and possessions. Hope the future holds better fortune for you.
ncgandy, Flying back next week for 10 days, really looking forward to a cold frosty morning. Just got in from golf at Roda, temp around 20, matched my score on the first 3 holes.......................Why cant someone invent a ball that hates water?
