Didn't realise how much it will cost...apparently 50 million euros across Europe. Considering how few goals are given/not given incorrectly, I agree with Platini that he'd rather spend that on grass root football. Of course not as simple as that as each fitted system will be paid for by clubs, so the money would not necessarily be diverted to grass roots if it wasn't fitted.

No. It's about the fifth.

Yes, it is ludicrously expensive, particulaly given the number of times this actually occurs in a season.

Just looked at pictures on OS of Saints visit to the children's ward. Fair play to them for not blubbering...I'd cry through the whole visit. Loved the scene with the Pompey supporter....good sport for putting on a Saints shirt.

Not against goal line technology as it has to be instant and therefore will not interrupt the game. Lot of money per decision though.

He called Wenger a dictator and accused him of brainwashing the public.

Truth is that Arsenal have but surely been dropping down the rankings. No longer are they considered for Premier League honours, and now it's more Europa League than Champions League. Plus, they haven't won the usual silver pot for several years. And Wenger has definitely lost the sharp edge. The pundit might be talking rubbish, but in this case, probably more by good fortune than judgement, he may be stumbling onto a valid point.

Fun fact - Arsene Wenger is the only manager in the Prem who is paid more than his players.

Agreed, Wengers' done all he can to Arsenal now. He should leave whilst he still has the majority of fans appreciating him. He can only harm his reputation by staying their longer.

PSG are reportedly interested as there's rumours that Ancelotti is going to get the sack for being below expectations.

Ancelotti has not done a great deal right. He deserves to go...

Now he is. A few seasons ago even Mourinho would have jumped. I seriously think they may be on the way to becoming the Liverpool Mark II. No wonder Walcott is hesitating.

Why don't you ask the Udinese fans. They seem to keep themselves entertained even when there is a match on!
