i would agree with leon but they were all piss poor for most of the game except tremmel who denied boro about 8 times. If they had scored we would have lost that match so well played tremmel for keeping us in the game....
Trenmel had a good game Dai I agree but the saves he made I'd expect a a premier league keeper to make them. Tremmel and Leon can go home feeling pride with their performances, others need to take a look at themselves
Phil, We were containing Boro, with difficulty, just to get a result tonight, never mind looking to the weekend. This was a Championship team that we were playing, at HOME, and apart from the last 20 minutes, they looked as good as us. Sorry, mate, not impressed at all. This team needs a lot of work and a bloody good dose of ATTITUDE.
I'm not so sure Ivor, we played like that against Barnsley in the same competition. Boro were certainly more up for it - we didn't even celebrate the goal. Disappointed with Dyer - he is half the player he was last season. NB: Do I get the WOTW trophy for getting the score right.

Delighted to win the game who cares about the performance, Leon was my MOTM he performed well all game when some others weren't at their best. Hopefully we'll perform better at White Hart Lane. : )
Well I hope we're not becoming a side who are only up for it against the 'big"clubs . Too many times this season I've been relieved to see half time and hope for a change in attitude in the second half .What ever Mr Laudrup says at half time works but we're becoming very slow starters .
Guys, what we have to remember is the tides have changed. gone are the days when we were hoping for a giant killing in the cup. In most of the games we are the giant waiting to be brought down a peg or two by a lower league club. I think it is difficult for players to get up for these games, i know they should. but i can guarentee they had one eye on sunday. But, they got the job done. If Manure had won that way last night Fergie would be saying job done move on to the next round. The job was done all be with not the best performance and we are in the semi final. not a bad thing is it, we dont play well and beat a side second in the championship and some are moaning. If we played that borough in a league match. it would be a comfortable win for us. If that side comes up without a lot of change they will struggle. imo. As for tremmel making lots of saves. I think he had a tidy game. But, my boy could have saved every shot that was put at him last night.
