    Latest:

"As at a report run at 9am, Wed Dec 12, Watford fans have bought 4,950 of the 6,000 Manchester City allocation.

There will be a further update of this article this afternoon, informing Watford fans of the sales arrangements for tomorrow (Thu Dec 13) onwards.

This will detail how Hornets' fans who have not yet fallen under one of the sale categories may be able to purchase Manchester City tickets, subject to availability."

So about 1k left this morning - lets hope not too many were sold today, and that they go on sale to anyone with a Fan ID tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

"AS at a report run at 5pm, Wed Dec 12, Watford fans have bought about 5,200 of the 6,000 Manchester City allocation.

AROUND 800 tickets - all in the Lower Tier, just to confirm - now remain to sell for the FA Cup Round Three tie at Manchester City after another steady day's sales."

Not looking good for getting tickets on general sale, but I am pleased for the club. Looks like the boys will have strong support for the day!!! I might have to contend with shouting at the radio if it's not televised.

I have a ticket booked for the Forest game so if anyone wants to add the Charlton game to my ID , send a PM to me and see if something can be worked out.

I have my ticket now... phew! My Dad bought it on his season ticket as he can't make it! I assume it will be in the lower tier, but will be going up on my lonesome - well, with my boss, but he will be in the home end!

Man City have closed the two 3rd tiers of the ground, so don't think they are expecting much of a home crowd.

Will i get one or won't I, we shall see tomorrow. Oh the perils of the Watford fan who can't get to many matches anymore.

Though I do agree that current season ticket holders and fans which go regularly should get priority.

Yeah, I agree they have done it the right way... although maybe not so much the latest one where you HAVE to buy tickets for Forest and Charlton, or a half-season ticket. I will be getting a Forest ticket but have to be back down here before Charlton!

Just good to see there will be 6,000 of us up there... should make some good noise, hopefully.

Exactly, win or lose we will make it a good day out. 6000 away fans should make some racket, always did prefer the atmosphere on away days especially when it's a new ground. I used to do quite a few in my teens and was on the way to doing a book about which grounds do the best pies in the country. Those were the days.

Cheers, I will do! You know if it is allocated seating?

I'll go for a few drinks before (with some Mancs, yuck), and then hang around the ground. Apparently they tend to have a lot going on. A big stage, with guests (normally someone who has played for both teams), maybe some music!

The more mature amongst us have seen it all before & often( WFC surely the luckiest club when it comes to Cup Draws over the years ?) and will be content with Steam Radio on the 5th.
Wish a pleasant day to those travelling, and trust nobody belonging to 'Not' will resort to object throwing on the pitch (would be £50 notes for some of you).

Few hundred miles to travel in Jan, would suggest do a check to make sure Man City have had the necessary finances (or a loan) to install undersoil heating
