Wenger has to go for the sake of your club. A legend, but one who has far outstayed his welcome. Your defeat last night to the Old Hullensians only reiterated that fact. A big to Doyle, Duke, Atkinson and Parkinson though!
Not realistically surely, I would think goals conceded couldn't be more realistic. You mean that subjectively you think we are all over the shop, which is a whole different matter.
That's down to Mancini isn't it. They clearly have the best squad in the league and up there with all the elite European sides. They just have the wrong manager. To be elite, you need to be at a playing standard matched by the very best. Arsenal used to be elite, but for the past few years, our level of football has significantly dropped. We have a large stadium, a solid financial foundation, plenty of money, great facilities and supposedly, one of the best coaches in world football, yet we have steadily regressed over the past few years. How is this possible unless there is something seriously wrong?
Matt Fortune from the Mail on CNN tonight stated that Arsend should go this season but feels that the board will allow him to see out his contract which has 18 months to run. He says that you fans have been fed lies for a long time by the board. Interesting stuff.
This is kind of interesting because just the other day whatshisname Tom thingy was in trouble for being a bit blunt with the truth. I think the board have been eminently truthful. I think the people that want Wenger out on performance grounds probably have a better case than those that think he or anyone else at the club is untruthful. Last on the sanity list come the fans that think getting rid of Wenger is somehow going the suspend the laws of finance and Arsenal are going to suddenly have gazillions of dollars to spend.
Take out Spurs and put in Liverpool and then you're right. Wouldn't class Spurs as one of the big clubs.
Citeh have been in the top 4 twice since the Sheikh came as they have only appeared in the CL over the last two seasons.
