Swedish lad training with Hull?

    I just ran into this by accident whiles reading on a Swedish football forum.
    It seems like Daniel Jarl, defender from Djurgårdens IF (the team I follow in Sweden) is currently training with City :emoticon-0112-wonde
    Can't say that I know anything about him though (Not close of playing in the first team from my knowledge, although I follow City more than Djurgården. He's probably around the same level as Conor Townsend, if you just compare on how close the first team they are.

    Has anyone heard anything regarding this?
    Old news?
    Does anyone know the purpose?

    Tall centre defender, 197 cm (Around 6'6 or so in your measurements)
    Born 1992.
    Plays for Djurgårdens IF U21 team.

    Probably reading too much into this, but found it interesting

    Not heard of him, or seen any mention of this anywhere else, I assume at that height he plays as a centre back?

    This is gaining some momentum in the Swedish press :bandit:
    Not sure why really, since it's hardly a well known player, but might be worth keeping an eye on.

    Djurgårdens IF were always THE best team to rape on Champ Manager in the old days (01-02). The had some amazing players including (excuse spelling from memory) Andreas Johannson, Johnan Wallinder, Stefan Barlin, Mikael Dorsin and Isaksson. Amazing players. I built my teams around them.

    But yeah, really good team back in the days.
    Also had Kim Källström.

    I had a slight flashback and had to double check Johan Wallinder.
    Forgot about that guy. He only played 20 games or so, just assumed you meant Elmander :redface:

    Is Daniel Jarl, translated into English Peter Crouch? I always thought that was an apt name, as walking through a door you have to Crouch down to go through them.
