It was so hot that one of the lads had the studs and sole come completly off his boot. Just literally slid off as the glue got to hot. Anyway, Happy Easter all!
**** I saw you post something the other day???? There's a band called love/hate but it wasn't that, can't be bothered to check all your posts sooooo I like Love/Hate???
I love and hate Christmas at the same time.
Love it! When I have kids eventually they'll love it too. I think opinions on this stem from personal experience. Mine were great as a child, and have turned into a great reason to get drunk and eat lots of food which suits me fine!
I'm not a Christmas fan so can't pick 'like', therefore I have begrudging opted for 'hate' despite feeling it is far too strong a word I have three and five year old boys so I have to make an effort but I have had a few bad things happen around Christmas time (as have a lot of people) and it is also a time when you miss lost loved ones too I can't even get pissed all Christmas anymore either as I have to visit family etc in the car. Bloody drink driving laws
Firmly in the grumpy old fart section as far as Xmas goes. Good things; 1.Time off work, top of my list. 2. Relax free from guilty feelings about doing absolutely f*ck all for a week! 3. Spend some quality time with the kids which normally doesn't last too long as we end up fighting. 4. Food, lots and lots of food. 5. Alcohol, in moderation of course. Bad Things; 1. TV adverts, it normally begins early November with the same ones over and over. Thank God for the Hard Disc Recorder. 2. Father Christmas or should I say Coca Cola Man, the very symbol of what is wrong with Xmas in Modern times. 3. I like fluffy fresh snow but it doesn't last and it's the mess it leaves afterwards that I hate. 4. Indigestion, hangovers and colds. 5. Having to sit through all the damn soaps, it seems no one ever has a good time at Xmas on Albert Square or Corrie. Someone always has to die, who will it be this year? Rant over.
