The re-run of the Bradford v Arsenal game has been switched to the gay adult channel. Apparently, eleven arseholes getting fcuked is too explicit for Sky Sports!
That's blown the cup wide open - as long as we beat Boro tomorrow. Dill, have u had ur Reading tickets yet?
No mate, nor Fulham or bloody Arsenal. If they're no here by Friday I'm driving down Saturday morning and having it out with the fcukwits in the ticket office.
I was beginning to panic as its been a while since I paid. Hope their not stuck in Llansamlet sorting office!
Villa were the better side and easily their best 90 minutes this season (perhaps) but our defence, other than Bassong was unrecognizable from Saturday as all the other picked up small injuries. A bit annoyed tbh, seeing as Bradford have made it, just need Leeds to win tonight and it's anyone's Cup for the taking.
Like laudrup said in his press call, teams like swansea and Norwich only need to drop performance levels by 5% for them to be exposed at this level of football. Sounds like you had a similar game to us the other day,it only takes one or two players to perform below their level, the margines Are so tight .
The performance wasn't too bad but just like Saturday it was a mad game, end to end, chances galore for both sides. Norwich could have just as easily won 4-1 and everything hinged on the goal that made it 2-1 to Villa. CH gambled for the last 10 minutes and City poured forward, exposing the back line. Had Norwich gone 2-1 up I am sure Villa would have done the same and left themselves exposed to more goals. We did miss the three defenders though and without Wes Hoolahan and Alex Tettey the midfield is not as strong, and for some odd reason CH went with a 4-4-2, the formation used when we were losing at the start of the season - very odd decision. Hey ho, enough excuses, just need to beat Wigan on Saturday to make up for it
Sounds like you made quite a few changes there Thai, it just follows what this league is all about for me, nobody knows woh is going to beat who!! i would have put money on you beating Villa at home ..thats football i guess ! onwards and upwards we go init !
We (Swans) have not practiced penalties ahead of tonight's Capital One Cup clash with Middlesbrough — because Michael Laudrup cannot make the goal shrink!! "It's a mental thing — it's special — and in my opinion you can't practice for that."
Just popped over to wish you boys luck tonight in the cup, i'll be looking out for who you play in the team and the score Hopefully you'll make a better job of it at home than we did last night actually a lot of us are glad we are out so we can focus on the league.
Good luck, I think of the teams left if prefer you to win the trophy. Even though it would take away a league European place ( if you don't finish top 7 )
If we get to the final that's the weekend were due to play Liverpool. Don't tell Dai whatever you do Out of curiosity, Am I the only one going tonight ?
