Yes, the date is 12-12-12 and the moon is in a waning crescent. It could be Doomsday or at worst only 9 days till the anticipated (by some) Mayan apcolypse on 21-12-12. Or only 3 days till the Malayian’s collapse, as expected by all except TF and his 24k band of followers.

However forget all the numerology, astronomy, astrology, trinity, yin and yang. What is concerning me are the elements. It’s freezing out there and forecast to get worse. I’d hate Saturday’s game to be affected by ’adverse weather’ and even called off.

I can’t find any accurate information - does anybody know if QPR have under-soil heating at Loftus Road ?

I remember when we played there at Loftus Rd, think it was against WBA, that I got all the way down to Shepherds Bush and it had been called off.
That was sometime round Christmas or New Year and there was only me and a solitary West Brom fan who was staying in the Pubs B&B.
But that's going back a few seasons, so I'd hope they've up graded their under-soil heating.
A few years ago I remember a game being called off at The Cottage because of a frozen pitch....Was it v Birmingham ?
Still we stayed in the pub and had a few more.... that's why I can't remember who it was.

I prefer to refer to today as International Soundcheck Day.
