Rangers are being charged with failing to inform their players of the move to newco. They are claiming this is tit (don't get excited lads) for tat because they are claiming compensation for players that just moved without Rangers receiving money. Green says he told the players at a meeting in the dressing room...tough, but I think he will find that you have to put employment changes in writing. I'm glad Nicola coughed up for Davis...saved us being dragged into it and possible repercussions.

The whole situation with Rangers is a complete mess. I bet Davis is glad he got out of it when he did.

Unlikely, but if moves were demonstrated to be illegal what would happen to points gained whilst fielding an ineligible player. Can see why Cortese didn't want to be caught up in that scenario.

Did the other two teams end up paying for the transfers. Stoke & a east European club, can't remember the name, were in dispute over a possible fee. Anyone know?

Yeah, seem to remember them paying along with us. The foreign club were standing firm though.

    Bingo!
They didn't want to pay. Just wondered if they got any blood from that particular stone.

They're claiming compensation on Contracts for players that they released in an agreement so therefore this shouldn't be allowed. They offered their players a Contract to stay on, or they could refuse and become free agents; therefore they aren't under the Clubs' ownership anymore.

It's a Public Stint to try and get some attention and some extra wonga. Scrounging twats.
