So 87 is saying we should boo. Plyer because he is not playing well in order to motivate him to play better. As CYM says Arsenal have been Giant Killijg victims before, though I still expected us to win that, but booing the players is shameful and disgraceful.
I wouldn't boo, but I'm saying if others do, for Gervinho, I wouldn't mind it, and would get pleasure in it. I've had enough of him and his bad performances, the same with Ramsey, these 2 do not belong at Arsenal, simple as that. Yeah, that might be extreme, I agree, but that shows you the negative vibe that's being created, and it's down to to Wenger creating this negativity, when he persists in playing the likes of forehead and Ramsey.
I have no problem with the team as a whole getting boos at the final whistle when they put in performances like norwich but i would never boo an individual player
When a player is in a red shirt you support him and never boo him. I didn't even boo Robbie Savage when he was playing in a Wales shirt
Why'd you boo Savage? The guy puts in passion and commitment at least, which makes up for his lack of skill.
That is amusing, I remember them going on about being unbeaten in 6 after the Everton game, and since then we've been beaten 3 times in our last 4! Shows you these guys are not living in reality, but will seize on anything to try and put a positive spin.
No, I wouldn't ever play Savage, but with the type of players we have now, Wenger probably would! I was going with an Arsenal coach myself, it was right outside the away section, where all the coaches were gathered.
Not really. I suppose i turn off when anyone other than Arsenal plays sometimes, and watching him play would definaely do that....
Which coach company did you travel with ? Why wouldn't you want a player like Savage who puts in passion and commitment ?
The main Arsenal travel coach that was being offered through the website, it was the green kingsferry buses. I don't know how you do coach travel every week, it's so damn tiring!
Taking a purely neutral stance, there is nothing wrong in trying to take the positives from life. Some people will argue that it is a good thing to do and that it is cathartic. It is true that the negatives must also be acknowledged and also worked upon. It is clear that the positive view attempted by many bloggers annoys you - that balances out against the number of people that will be annoyed by a constant "glass half empty" diatribe. The 'reality' as you put it is always somewhere in between.
A87 - "Don't worry about them, most fans DON'T think or talk like them I was at the game, with the away fans, nobody was spouting the bull**** these guys are, they live in their own little deluded bubbles." So you didn't hear the fans singing theres only one Arsene Wenger at the game then? I'm sure after the result everyone is pissed off - thats what happens when you lose to a team you don't expect to. But it's knee jerk and does not all of a sudden mean most Arsenal fans are as negative as you. You are part of a minority that hates everything Arsenal (or at least the board, the manager, the stadium and half the players...).
A87 - "Shows you these guys are not living in reality, but will seize on anything to try and put a positive spin." You don't think that maybe everyone feels like this is exactly what you do to try and put a negative spin on everything?
I watched the match on Sky last night and was mightily impressed with the vocal support from the travelling Gooners - well done all, it can't have been easy...
Fair play our away support is always brilliant. It's a shame our away fans can't sit together at the Emirates
