Most likely, doubt you'll keep hold of him for another season.

I know how many games he's played, I was at them, but he still only started playing for us in the Championship last year.

    Two seasons now.

    1 and two halves.

Not quite sure what only starting in the championship 'last year' (two years really) has to do with anything.

If he's got the technical ability you claim then he'd be good enough.

Oh no, he will be joining us in the Premier League next season after he has signed a new 5 year contract!

<laugh> Oh my god last season you were telling us how he was the best thing since sliced bread, you weren't going to sell him, especially not to us, and were quoting figures of £5m plus... Funny how opinions change... Or maybe you just completely overrated him to start with!? Think that seems much more likely...

Is this just your default response to everything? I wonder what you'll be saying when we go back above you... Oh, that's right, we won't know because you probably won't be here...

Personally I think you're overrating Chester, he's alright I guess, good Championship centre back, may get a crack at the PL one day, maybe not, meh...

Very sensible post ... I haven't seen enough of Chester to judge him properly but from what I have seen he does look to have great potential -

I will say of Morgan that he is by far the best defender we have signed since Matt Elliott .. he will (IMHO) do well in the Premier league if we get there because he has the necessary technical ability combined with the right attitude and a winning mentality .. in a relatively short space of time he has earned the right to be our captain as he is a real leader...

I'd reserve judgement there - Wes has surprised me at just how good he is technically - plus his last ditch tackling is exceptional - on more than one occasion this season (couple were televised) I thought he had given away a penalty as he ran in to tackle forwards who were 'in on goal' only for the refs to wave lay on - the TV replays showed that his timing was actually perfect just getting his toe there before the striker made contact ... he is also incredibly strong and quick (for such a big guy) ..

I've always rated Morgan in all fairness. When he was at Forest he was their outstanding defender and said that when NP signed him for Leicester that it's a bloody brilliant signing. Chester is a great defender for his age and height. He plays as a CB at 5"10 which is great for someone of his age to pull off. He reads the game really well and very, very rarely makes mistakes. I haven't seen enough of Morgan this year to comment but my Leicester-following family say he's amazing.

No, my point was, Proud seems to think Leicester have a better 'keeper, better defence, better midfield and better strikers than us. If that is the case it seems beyond strange that we should be so evenly matched, and actually above you.

Don't think you've seen him play enough. Better than Turner for me, and he's first-team for a midtable Premier League side.

Eldin Jakupovic was a Barmby target, which I think was signed under Barmby but the deal was to join this Season IMO because Steve Bruce doesn't rate him at all. Mark Oxley is a product of the youth academy. Always injured. They haven't really featured for us at all. Jakupovic warms the bench and Oxley sits in the reserves so no surprise you haven't heard of them.

    Are they over rated then?

Trotter and Wood would be the final two pieces of the jigsaw for Nigel.
