    Bottom line is that without Mike Williamson - another OG tonight - we'd be top 6. We talk about only being two shy of our strongest XI, but when that XI could have Cabaye in for Jonas and Saylor in for Williamson, you could be talking about the difference between the 2-1 defeat and a 3-0 win.

    Having just read this thread, there are 2 questions I'd like to ask you all.

    1. Wouls Pardew be sacked, condsidering how long he has left on his contract?
    2. You appeared to have a good season last year. What has changed this year? You don't look the same team at all.

    I'm too tired to write a rational comment about the game, but it looked for a lot of the time as if the guys didn't know each other never mind trained together. Something must be wrong with their preparation for the games as apart from looking as if they don't know each other they just didn't seem to have any confidence at all.

    Having key players out doesn't help, but we shouldn't be dependant on individual players, we should have people to come into the team to replace any injured players and keep the machine running smoothly.

    As I say, it's 24 hours without sleep for me so I could do with being subbed. Off to bed now to try and get some shuteye, it's been a terrible day in more than one way.
