Interesting, but only 13 clubs are backing it. Does this mean that the rest are against it?

WTF!?!?!?!?! I took my test in worse conditions than this!!! The road leading to the one and only entrance had puddles of ice in it and i still took it. No wonder people are sayng young people are such bad drivers, they are not allowed to get the experience they need!

Ditto to you Leo - was working in a little village school about an hours drive from your brother today. The temp when I arrived there was minus 8 <yikes> The last five miles of the way there was over a one lane, untreated country 'road' covered in frozen snow - a very scary drive.

Hope all is well with Mrs L

Morning all, 13C and cloudy at the moment. It is supposed to be cooler today - not the 30C we got to yesterday. Still. the Christmas weather is finally arriving.
Thanks for the drink AK. It is always a surprise. Sometimes you give me red wine and sometimes tea. It is good to know that someone cares about my liver.

Is this the only club on 'Not' to have its own resident Shakespeare?

There is a lot of earthquakes in the last few days in sea to the north of Eyjafjörður and the towns of Siglufjörður and Ólafsfjördur in Fjallabyggð area. All have been very small.

Freezing again here and facing a third day of sore throat and high temperature...though slightly better than yesterday, so just for Nick:

    Nature does require
Her time of preservation, which perforce
I her frail son amongst my brethren mortal
    Must give my attendance to.

Thanks Sandy - yesterday did go well - Mrs L's blood tests were good so they have OK'd the start of the new drug she needs to control the growth of the cancer. Just have to be positive now and hope it holds it in check for as long as possible.
